I Am currently trekking around Scandinavia and today took me to Trondheim in Norway, first you wouldn't believe the number of people wearing Liverpool and Manchester United shirts, every man and his dog seemed to have one on, secondly I was sat in Burger King eating a ridicously expensive burger when a Norwegian came up to me, got awfully excited about my Saints shirt and asked whether he could take a picture of me, I of course obliged. Strange Day

Why didn't we have Pekhart on the bench today? Thought he would have been ideal to come on when chasing a game.

And I am surprised about Thomas playing, he has been a liability when I have seen him recently.

Saints sign young Czech striker Tomas Pekhart on loan from Spurs
Edmonton Saint replied to Wildgoose's topic in The Saints
So Sky say we have him for the season, whilst the OS says until January. Who do we believe? -

This thread is only the start of my revenge...........

Watching the England match currently and a close up of that awful man Ray Clemence took me back 20 years to when Ray upset me when I was a boy of 14. Studio 10 in Hayle was the scene, some minor footballing celebrities had gathered for a autograph sessions. We are talking the likes of Phil Thompson, Mike Hooper, Ray Clemence and John Scales... As I said minor celebrities, me and my friend were not really interested in any autographs and were just milling around, when I hear someone shout at me to get out of the " ****ing" way because someone wants to take his photo, this someone was Ray Clemence, I think I went bright red after someone of his stature shouted at me, and at the moment all the eyes of the world were on me, so all I could do was shuffle sheepishly off sight, muttering profusely under my breath. However I did vow that day, that one day I would have my revenge on Ray Clemence........ Anyone else met " Celebrities" who have turned out to be absolute ******s? On another note, a couple of years ago I had the pleasure of a night out with Mark Owen(of take that fame) and he was one of the nicest blokes I had ever met, so there are some decent ones out there too....

Family Fun day and not a family in sight judging by that pic

What I don't understand is what was Leon Crouch doing as chairman in allowing the wages and fee be paid for Davies in the first place, when it was clear that the club were in financial difficulties. The Same can be said about Euell, if the club had a more prudent approach in the last couple of years, then perhaps we would not be in this mess now.

Or Dyer? Skacel?

Thought the bench was a little lightweight today, no one on there to come on and make a difference , like the Birmingham subs have done
-
Come on!!!!, fully deserved judging by the commentary

Gutted, be interesting to see the goal , to see whether the Saints complaints were justified, The worse thing was as soon as Lloyd James gave away the free kick in the 90th, I had a horrible feeling of inevitability of Cardiff scoring and I wasn't wrong.

Same old Saints, last freaking minute
