Hoj was just the same in his interview after the Newcastle defeat he then followed up with two pretty poor performances (goal at Wigan aside) to be honest I've had enough of players bollix interviews actions speak louder than words stop talking about it and just go out and perform.

And yesterday again proved the players aren't good enough our defence is a shadow of the one we had two seasons ago. As is our attack and arguably our midfield. While we can certainly point to plenty of manager mistakes, the last couple of seasons, we are on our third manager with the same set of players and we still look terrible. At some point people have to except this slide over the last two seasons is more than just bad manager decisions.

Well if all we do is flog a load of the first team and don't buy in decent replacements (for the league we are in) leaving us with a weaker squad then we are screwed for sure. If we clear out the dead wood and actually invest in a good championship squad then we have a chance. It all depends on how we approach next summer.

Cortese with out millions to spend would make no difference.

Impossible to tell without seeing who we sell, who we buy and who the manager is. The club has to be prepared to invest (ideally in the best players in the championship) though last time we went down we all we did was cut costs and spend 90K on the squad.

Might as well play a fans 11 surely we can find 15 saints fans that can play a bit at least they'd play for the shirt...

Yep pretty much. All this season has shown is Puel did a decent job with the tools he had but our general down ward trend has a lot to do with the decline in the quality of the squad more than anything else.
