This. He knew he had done as much as he could at saints and figured he could achieve something with Everton's millions. He wasn't driven out of saints he left quite happily for a nice big salary.

I think it's clear what we need. The Rickie Lambert - Kelvin Davis dream team just need to fast track their coaching badges....

I like the look of McQueen and think he could do a decent job in place of Redmond. I am a fan of Stephens but by keeping VVD and bring in Wesley we now have 4 good CBs and only play 2 so I can understand that (though I think there is a case for trying three at the back). I was also hoping to see Gallagher in the first team this season and was surprised he was loaned out if I'm honest. I hope Sims is going to get an opportunity when he is fit but not convinced he will. Reed I'm not fussed about not sure he is up to it. Olomola is raw and probably benefiting from his loan at Yeovil but can't help feeling he might of offered something up front (probably as a late sub) with just pace and power.

I have to admit its sad how little we've seen of the youth this season doesn't look like any of them are getting near the first 11 anymore.

Would he? he just got sacked by a side with a better squad than ours playing horrendous football. While I think MoPe is well out of his depth the squad, like last season, is not good enough and needs a massive overhaul. We need more than just a manager change to turn things around. Who ever comes in is still going to struggle with our **** attacking options and Forster as our main keeper.

He isn't coming back considering the way he left.

Koeman would be lucky to do much with this squad with no big CF and no Mane.

What do you expect Sam to do with our squad? We have no big front man and a team of light weight midgets the football would also be ****ing boring which is one of the reasons to get rid of MoPe.

This if you get rid of a manager it's to replace him with better we quite clearly haven't done that and, amazingly, look worse than the end of last season.

How many PL managers outside the top six are playing attacking football not to many it's all about not getting beat for most of them. As for big Sam we have a team players about as far removed from a Sam's ideal type of player as you could get I doubt he could get anything out of this squad.

Shame we didn't keep Koeman we would have done much better in Europe.....
