That's the way I see it we general play nice stuff up until the final third were we have struggled to get it right most of the season.

Do we really think players like Tadic, , Davis, JWP, Boufal, Jrod, Hoj and Austin are up to a high tempo pressing game?

God I hope we do get rid of Long Jrod and Forster. If it's a first out the door policy get rid of those three and tell VVD, Cedric and Bertrand they were to late....

Surely the bit that changed the winning team was losing Pelle, Mane and Victor bit hard for him to just continue were Koeman left off having lost those three. Also wasn't one of the issues with Koeman that Les didn't like the style of football? I'm pretty sure the ITKs on here said as much when Koeman was going through his bad spell around Christmas last season. I think Les actually wanted to encourage a different style shame he didn't buy better players to facilitate it.

Well who ever we end up with he is probably going to have to do better than this season with the same squad minus VVD, Bertrand and Cedric ...yeah good luck with that. Is Jesus available because we are going to need a bloody miracle worker next season.

He is slow he needs pace around him so playing him with Austin and JWP really doesn't pay. I thought he would link up well with Gabbi but they don't seem to have clicked much at all. What really frustrates me is how ****ing bad he is at shooting.

yeah says a lot about our midfield that our CB felt the need to come half way up the pitch to try and win the ball back and get us moving forward.

I wouldn't play Hoj there gives the ball away far to much plus he goes down easily for a big guy and doesn't seem that hot in the air so we need a better option next to Romeu. I'd rather play someone with more goal threat than Tadic in behind the front two and replace Austin with someone with proper pace (not jrod) that can actual hit a barn door(not Long). Plus I think we will lose Cedric, Betrand and VVD. Also if I'm honest I'd like to replace Forster. erm so yeah Romeu looks good in that formation.

TBF most of our defence looks likely to be sold this summer so maybe going all out attack and defence be damned might be the way to go....

Need seriously upgrade our squad if we want to go back to a high press side the thought of the likes of Boufal, Davis, Tadic, JWP and Austin trying to keep up some sort of sustained pressing game is quite amusing

Puel's biggest mistake was not hauling of that waste of space earlier JWP was terrible I'd have taken him off after 20 minutes hopefully he won't be here next season but sadly I suspect I will get another season of the "free kick specialist" doing sweet FA.

After today nope. Him and Tadic in the three and Austin up front had about much pace as a snail on downers. I've tried to like the lad but he just isn't good enough today proved it again. We need to get rid and upgrade him for next season.

We'll that's was turd. Players really didn't look bothered. Don't care who the manger is next season ( and I think after today the players have done enough to get rid of Puel with another poor display) our squad needs major surgery. Forster isn't good enough. Just compare him to the likes of Butland or Man utds back up keeper. If JWP is the future of our midfield we might as well apply to play in league one next season. Davis ( always been a fan) is showing his age and needs upgrading but the other CM choices aren't even as good as those two. Attack needs a major overhaul. Gabbi is the only one I really want to keep. Boufal, Tadic and Redmond need to be doing a lot more in the creative role. The only part of the squad that is decent is the back four plus Romeu and that's probably about be ripped apart by the big boys. Massive summer ahead for me if we go into next season with this squad in it's current form ( or more likely a weaker version minus Bertrand, Cedric and VVD) we are going to struggle big time.
