I think its a bit early to be suggesting that Jrod is back and Long is surplus to requirements. Long only came good last season after getting a run in the team, something he hasn't really had this season.

That's a gross over simplification as last seasons Europa games were all out of the way in the first couple of weeks of the season....but you knew that any way.

Not celebrated what the this shows isn't we haven't got substantially worse despite what you an others have tried to make out. We lost a manager, some good players, had to play far more games than previous seasons all in a league arguably harder than last seasons and yet we are pretty much maintaining our level good news I'd say.

We don't have the strength in depth at CB to let Fonte go in Jan and I don't see us wanting to try and get a new CB up to speed mid season. My take is if he wants to leave next summer the club will cash in.

Not so sure about that mane went 4 months without a league goal ( Liverpool away to Liverpool at home) and was generally gash all through mid season.

Its not mental, in most cases, its carefully crafted to get a raise out of people.....

LOL I love this place lose a game and we have one set of posters screaming "I was right" win a game and we have a different set screaming "I was right". The only way to really judge the season will be at the end of it. Winning or losing a couple of games is no indication one way or the other. The truth is we have been good at times and we have been poor at times but right now we are doing ok.

Why would any of their current teams sell them in Jan? Westbrom are doing well and no doubt don't want to sell their star striker to de-rail that, Newcastle are on a promotion push in which Gayle is an important part and Boro are toothless without Negredo and will need his goals to avoid relegation. We would have to throw horrendous amounts of cash at any of those three (far more than they are worth) to get one of those players.
