Its a tricky one because as the reigning champions they might have expected to put up a better defence of their title. They kept two out of the their three best players and splashed more cash so while I imagine they weren't expecting to win the league again they were probably aiming to be pushing in around the top six. It seems like in the PL Leicester's style has generally been find out and their manager doesn't seem to have an answer while in Europe teams are struggling a bit with Leicester's way of playing.

Generally as rule we don't seem to perform up at Stoke and we are certainly better at home than away this season so this will be tough.

Not sure about that BBC said we had 7 games in December and another 7 in January I think we might see a bit more squad rotation over a busy Christmas period yet.

Get a different hobby then because the money you pay at football entitles you to nothing more than a seat in the stadium no club makes a promise of exciting, good, winning or entertaining football... ...personally I cheered the goal because it was a brilliant strike and I enjoyed the second half but each to their own.

Its funny because I must be the only person who remembers standing through many poor games last season and quite a few the three seasons before that. This idea that previous seasons we played all conquering, exciting, attacking football week in week out is bizarre because its so untrue. We are this season what we have been for several seasons a decent mid table PL side with good (not outstanding players) who are inconsistent and capable of playing good football and bloody awful football quite often in the same game.

First half was poor but we were still way better than boro. Second half we were much improved. At the current time I can't say we are are any better or worse than last season a few of the details might be different but the results seem broadly similair. We still need to be more clinical in front of goal but that has been a problem for quite a few seasons. Shout out for Jordy today best I've every seen him play in a saints shirt...which is just as well given how poor JWP was today.

Got to love the PL for its competiveness. Just look at Bournemouth beat an inform Liverpool 4-3 one week lose to Burnley the next. Its a cliché but there really aren't any easy games in the PL.....well maybe Sunderland ...its nip and tuck every week.
