Nope but then he didn't really bring many players in (IIRC) he was given the brief to manage the likes of Danny Fox and Jos the boss who were probably just happy to be playing in the PL. The only player he brought in which was clearly his idea was Osvaldo ( and he didn't seem all that happy to be here). As a slight aside on talk****e last night someone was saying that poch needs to show he can handle the big name players before he can be consider a really good coach which I thought was interesting.

Totally agree. We are lucky to have a manager with some kudos in the football world which is very useful for a club like saints....one of the reasons I'm not keen on Eddie Howe. Koeman clearly has ambitions beyond saints. I have no problem with that as long as he leaves us in a better way than mopo did.

I find hard to believe to many players would be swayed by LVG either way. I think players who sign for man u are signing to play for huge club ( and no doubt a huge wage packet) I think in those circumstances the manager may be less important.

I don't know but he was the guy that said Morgan and Jrod wouldn't be sold the summer before last or that Mane and Vic weren't going were last summer. My take is contract talks aren't conclusive nothing is set until the ink dries on the contract just because talks are progressing doesn't mean anyone has agreed to anything.

Lol your full of carp no one ever said saints couldn't make a champions league spot as a one off. There's a big difference between what Leicester have done a being a champions league club.......lets see them do it for a few years in a row. Clearly you are confused though as you constantly bang on about net spend, lack of investment and poor quality replacements. Yet now hold up Leicester up as an example of what saints can do knowing full well you'd of wet the bed if we had signed the sort of players Leicester had signed recently. No ansty from me lm happy to see the club finish a third season top eight in the country despite the predictions of doom. Personally think the club are doing pretty well.
