That is clearly not true just look at our squad....
-
Koeman has been backed by the board well enough Pelle, Tadic, VVD, Toby, Martina, Mane and Clasie are all Koeman brothers players. Ronald has hardly been hung out to dry by the board and not backed. The first round of players buggered off before he had even got his feet under the table at Staplewood. last summer he knew Morgan was going, he probably suspected Clyne wasn't going to stay amd the only reason he has to be upset with the club over transfers was the Toby cluster **** were someone dropped the ball.

TBF his record is pretty good league 1 to top half PL team ...
-
Surely not if he wins the FA cup...

Given the job security your average football manager has any good agent would tell him to sign as soon as possible if the contract is even half decent. It's not like it's hard for a football manager to get the sack if he wants out (complete with a nice big pay off).
-
TBF Koeman has being saying for ages there is no hurry to look at a new contract. If players/managers want a new contract they'll sign one but it seems most don't they see as a stepping stone and nothing more. The club can't make then sign a new contract. If Koeman doesn't want to stay fair enough no point having a manager who want's to be else where same with players really.

This season was the season for spurs to win the title...next season the big boys will be back on form (new managers new big money signings) and spurs will drift back down to a more natural 5-6th...
-
As a potential Leicester scenario I assume you mean Everton are planning to avoid relegation, are going to pick up a few bargain basement players, appoint a manager who lost to the Faroe islands and then watch as a player they bought in the championship plays the season of his life.....?
-
I like this we could call it the Lallana test.....
-
Getting on a bit though can't see us getting in to many retirement age mangers.
-
What like Vardy and Marhez.....
-
yeah a semi which they both lost
-
I've always liked him. He creates chances (someone in the team has) his biggest failing is he crap at the defensive side of thing which ever side he is played on (left being his better one) the full back behind him is going to have to work really hard because he won't get much help from Tadic. it would be Interesting to compare his stats to Lallana's last season with us (or even their stats over the last two seasons)

They wouldn't but I think it will take more than Leicester winning the league once to make out the PL is now a big open competition anyone can win. Blackburn did it once in the early days of PL since then it's been a closed shop. It's not that a team, including saints, outside the big 6 can't occasionally crash the party (though more likely nicking a CL spot than winning the league) it's just it's going to be an infrequent occurrence not a seasonal thing. Leicester hit the perfect storm this season, the big boys took their eye of the ball and got complacent, and fair play to them. But I think people are kidding themselves if don't think the big 6 will pull out all the stops this summer to re-establish the status quo. Leicester aren't suddenly part of the football elite even being in the champions league one season doesn't make them a CL level club. Until this season repeats itself several times in quick succession you won't convince me this is anything but a flash in the pan.

yeah that's been put to bed now were finishing errr............ 8th without European football. Now Leicester have won the league that's it the big boys monopoly is no more we will probably see Pulis guide WBA to the title next season, while Chelsea are relegated and Bournemouth grab 4th.....
-
or us under Koeman this season....
-
So spurs hit the woodwork 3 times looks like saints aren't the only team to struggle to kill off a game...
-
what a rubbish punch hits like a girl....
-
My guess would be it includes all passing so victors 2 yard sidewards passes count as much as an attempted through ball forward.

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/510592/Barcelona-15m-summer-Leicester-Southampton Might need a new keeper ?
-
Leaves us with no ball players in the middle of the park then. Got to have Clasie or Jwp (Clasie the better option IMO) along side Victor or Romeu. Victor getting the nod because he will play a blinder in one of his come and get me auditions.
-
We've beaten then at home a couple of times since we got back to the PL iirc.
-
I think its pretty clear he picks the team on either who scored or because he wants to impart some punditry wisdom and the player mentioned is just a convenient lead into a ramble about something else.
-
Remind me again how much Leicester paid for Marhez and Vardy or spurs paid for Kane ?

It wasn't getting a draw at Everton that hurt our chances of Europe more that horrible period around Christmas when two of our three main goal scorers became unable to hit a barn door at 3 yards. Mane went from October (Liverpool away) to March (Liverpool at home) without scoring a goal in the league which is bloody awful really and Pelles contribution was similar.
