I thought JWP was ok nothing spectacular but no where near as bad as people want to make out.
-
Pretty good summary. Yesterday was, I think, a lesson in not taking our chances when we are on top something that has been a bit of a theme in recent games.
-
I thought he was making some nice runs and finding some good pockets of space when he came on but his team mates weren't really looking for him.
-
I think he was actually serious...

No going to disagree their goal yesterday was a comedy of errors.

FA Cup 3rd Round Draw - Crystal Palace at Home

**** it I want the Skates (at home so I can actually go will never get a ticket away) I want payback for the 4-1 a few seasons back plus bring the skates to SMS might actually make a atmosphere. Eastleigh would kind of be fun in a surreal way. -
There was no lack of fitness on display yesterday we well on top at the end of the game and pushing for the winner one of the reasons Villa were wasting time like it was going out of fashion.
-
No the tards are the ones who constantly buy into player interviews what do you expect our captain to say "yeah we're not really bothered tenth will be fine this year" you must be a salemans dream punter.
-
I would be surprised anyone thought we would continue to improve our league position every year indefinitely the higher you go the harder it becomes.
-
So Koeman didn't want Clasie, Pelle, Tadic, Mane, Eljero Elia or VVD I think you can level somethings at the board but not supporting Koeman isn't one of them
-
Not totally true the 1st half of those games we blew both those teams out of the water with some great football we just couldn't keep it up.
-
I'm not sure about that Koeman is just pretty honest and says what he thinks. I don't think their is much politicking in what he says more he just says it as he sees it.
-
Victor has been poor for a while now. Romeua looked good when he came on maybe time to give him a few games in a row.
-
That was the issue yesterday we created 23 chances on goal so criticizing the midfield for moving the ball to slowly seems erroneous to me. 23 chances should be enough to win a game if we had a striker on form yesterday we would have won at a canter and no one would be complaining. Pelle looks like he is going to repeat last season by starting of scoring a few and then going off the boil and not scoring for a while. I was hopeful we might have a fit Jrod finding form as an alternative striker but like last season, with Jrod injured again, Pelle is a shoe in to start every game and there is no alternative. Hopefully a new striker to play up top in the Jan window.
-
and scored kind of the definition of the perfect sub I'd say.
-
1) because we get him first 2) would you want to stay at QPR a minute longer than you had to (alright we would have to make it worth his while I'm sure) 3) 18 PL goals in a totally **** side last season is good enough for me the guy knows were the back of the net is.
-
keep Mane in Jan and get Austin in anyway to give Pelle some competition then get in a decent goal scoring attacking AM to play in behind the striker.
-
we had 64% possession, 10 corners and 23 attempts on goal according to the stats I think the response from the players was alright what was lacking is a clinical finisher.
-
Does Glen Murray count not sure he is a target man but he is ****ing slow. What about Norwich and Cameron Jerome?
-
I wouldn't mind us trying a more counter attacking side at Palace maybe Long, Mane and Juanmi (who I thought looked decent when he came on today) playing across the front plenty of pace.
-
Thought are subs were good today one scored the equalizer and the other two gave us much needed energy as we went for the win.
-
See spurs were held by westbrom shades of poch at Southampton. from the bbc But Spurs' intensity dropped after that strong start and West Brom levelled before the break when James McClean's header concluded a patient move. Pochs style starting to tire spurs out? (I ****ing hope so because I'm not looking forward to facing them in a couple of weeks)
-
Thing is Pelle knows he is going to play week in week out because the only other option is Shane Long we really need an alternative and I reckon Austin could be that.
-
I think that was saints fans way of errrrr sticking up for that poor cow at the front getting called a slag by the villa section...

I actually saw a few people walking out on 60 minutes today never seen that before.
