Wasn't she personally responsible for getting the club involved in the Mary's meal thing?

I'll go with this. The idea we would just continue to improve season upon season is pretty ridiculous. There are a whole load of teams in the PL similar to us, outside the big six, full of good players. In the end it's all about which of those teams players hit the best form each season. It's been us the last couple of seasons but it isn't going to be us every season. Swansea are a good example of what happens when your players lose form and confidence.

I can't say I find it boring .... frustrating at times, when we aren't taking our chances, but certainly not boring
-
Probably should highlight the Gaston stats to next time someone starts the "Why don't we play super Gaston he's better than Long" moan to....
-
Bit like Swansea last summer then who don't sell their best players like saints and bring in great new signings.........
-
...in these two players in Jan Arsenal duo Joel Campbell and Mathieu Debuchy could be offered to Newcastle in January, according to the Chronicle. http://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/transfers/arsenal-duo-could-be-offered-to-newcastle-in-january/ar-AAgd23j?ocid=spartanntp

We've done quite well replacing the manager every couple of seasons TBF..... ....having said that I like Koeman.
-
Back to Chelsea for 30 million......
-
yeah I was kind of hoping they meant Hugo Lloris
-
which is fair enough IMO not to many people even rich ones can afford to right off £60 million.
-
Well hopefully we are past the little money black hole the club/owner felt was an issue when Nic left and will be able to spend a bit more in the future.

http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/koeman-reveals-plans-to-listen-to-southampton-about-new-contract-4107795 Ronald Koeman is ready to consider new contract talks with Southampton. The Saints manager is keen to hear from the board of their ambitions. "I'm curious about what the club wants and what the club thinks in the coming years should be done. "That's what I'm going to listen to and then I'll see if I stay or not," Koeman told Voetbal International. "Yes, I am happy. Because I'm super enjoying myself and because I am in the best league in Europe to work. If I see there is still a challenge, then I am happy to continue. Then we'll see what comes." Ronald making his position clear to the club the last few weeks then. More money for players and I'll stay seems to the gist of it.

There isn't going to be a like for like replacement for Morgan. Anyone as good (or better) than Morgan is never going to come to saints and we could never afford them anyway. If you are waiting for us to sign a player who is going to come and pick up where Morgan left off you could be waiting a long time.
-
according to google the title translates as '' Southampton would like to continue with me '' the bit underneath is How long is Ronald Koeman still trainer at Southampton? Harry asks him! '' I've been here super to my liking and I work in the most beautiful League of Europe '', said Koeman.

So a lot worse than Tadic or Shane Long ....who'd have believed that:lol:
-
I'm getting quite excited actually the thought of the club selling every player the forum doesn't consider good enough and replacing them with better one will make for a very exciting Jan transfer window....
-
I think Koeman is OK in that he will never have a problem getting a job in the Netherlands regardless of how the job here goes.
-
Gaston 6 goals in 46 league appearances don't know about his assists
-
So what you're saying is........we should sell Tadic in January to re-invest in someone better:D

FA Cup 3rd Round Draw - Crystal Palace at Home
doddisalegend replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
We're more than capable of beating palace on our day (and they us). I'm just disappointed we didn't get a draw against someone more interesting. Playing PL teams in the cups just isn't than interesting when your team is in the PL. -

Doubt it unless they drop the prices big time. No one really wanted to watch us play another PL team.
