Saints v WHU match in a few weeks is going to be a cracker I reckon.

As title says who has in your opinion been the best player signed during the Liebherr era? Best is subjective I know but I'm think along the lines of cost, impact made in their time here, Important goals scored and ability. I think Lambert is probably close but Jose Fonte has to be right up there to. Both players that just seemed to step up and keep on improving season on season in their time here. Any others?

Generally I don't think moving a player from his best position (which is CB regardless of what Belgium thinks) is the best plan even if he can do a job there. We need a dedicated RB as both cover and eventual replacement (most likely next summer) for Clyne IMO

How many is that we've got away with Citeh, Chelsea and the toon come to mind. We are well on away to being a big club next up we need an outrageous amount of injury time, to score a winner, when drawing a game at home

I'd prefer that would be gutting to see Morgan turn out for another PL side.

Don't think anyone disagrees that Morgan will leave the point is why the club or Morgan would agree to Arsenal now rather than wait until the summer to see what is being offered. I'm pretty sure Arsenal won't be the only club interested agreeing the whole thing now stops us from profiting from a bidding war between Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs.

Isn't that tapping up? I didn't think players were allowed to talk top another club before that club had agreed a fee with the parent club first.

Would be odd given the circumstances this season. Pretty sure Morgan will leave in the summer but if he really wants CL football he might be better waiting to see which clubs get it first, arsenal might not even make the CL this season. From saints point of view he will be in high demand in the summer so why agree a deal with arsenal now when we could have a bidding war in the summer.

Strange but I thought Mings was giving Clyne a real challenge last night. Can't say I've seen to many players worry Clyne.

Say what you like about Long but you can't fault his energy and commitment 89th minute and he is still chasing everything down like the f ucking energizer bunny.

So we go with Cork, Reed and either JWP or Davis in midfield for the next couple of weeks maybe not the best but hardly a disaster either. I swear people think we are going to go all season with no injuries. These are the times when RK earns his money people.

Maybe Ronald should register as a player......... We could just as easily lose a first team player to injury on Saturday. Should we rest them against Newcastle as well? Injuries happen either you have a squad to cope or you don't.

Using that logic we might as well play our best 11 tonight as they won't even have to break in to a sweat to beat a championship side at a canter......
