  1. Senegal angry at Sakho withdrawal Senegal officials hope to prevent injured Diafra Sakho playing for West Ham during the three-week-long Africa Cup of Nations tournament. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30723944 guess we will be next if they don't believe us about Manes injury
  2. Had look at utd fans take on the game at red café http://www.redcafe.net/matches/manchester-united-vs-southampton.26/discussion?page=5 interesting take on our game against arsenal didn't see quite like that myself Pretty even game with slightly better chances for Le Arse, but Saints were quite clinical and Szczesny and Arsenal's defence comical. Saints obviously missed Schneiderlin in that game though. Every time Arsenal moved the ball fast Saints had problems though, especially the pace of Sanchez was quite handy for the Gunners. They missed a couple of sitters, so if we move the ball clever and quickly we should be able to cut through them. Looks like their defence (which was pretty ropey anyway) is pretty injury ravaged so I think we should be able to get at them I'm feeling quite confident (as long as JWP isn't playing RB again) we can get a result. I'd quite like to do a bit of daylight robbery to them like they did to us at SMS
  3. He has constantly said he wants regular CL football so Liverpool are a non starter. I honestly don't think Morgan would be considered by Man city or Chelsea. I don't think Liverpool or spurs are good enough for him, If he is serious about regular CL football, or can even afford what the club value him at him. Same with Arsenal who won't pay what Morgan is worth. That really only leaves Man U who can afford him and be big enough to give him what he wants...........hopefully he will go abroad.
  4. Liverpool’s Rickie Lambert becomes an early target for Alan Pardew http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jan/06/rickie-lambert-liverpool-target-alan-pardew
  5. hell I'll put a tenner on....
  6. Lets face it if Morgan goes to Arsenal he won't play much..................I don't know what happens to players at Arsenal but Morgan's likely to develop some long term recurring injury if he moves there;)
  7. Except that people have been saying that since Morgan arrived in the UK and Morgan has reportedly expressed a desire to play CL which Arsenal might not be able to give him next season. If he goes anywhere in the PL I suspect it would be Man Utd probably 60 million double swoop for Morgan and Victor.
  8. Maybe time for Rickie to follow his mate Stevie G state side for the twilight of his career. Hell if BWP can be a star in the MLS Lambert would be **** hot. Dream link up with Guly maybe.
  9. Assuming we can keep him of course I think he might be in higher demand than Morgan this summer.
  10. Exactly some players, for what ever reason (not necessarily because of their footballing ability), pick up a following Guly was one of them I always liked watching him play even if wasn't a top class footballer.
  11. Has anyone this kid play? Is he really good enough to walk in to Reals squads at 16 or is there a lot of hype going on?
  12. Great back up for Pelle and a useful way to get rid of all the unsold pies after a home match......
  13. Meh pretty tasteless thing to do but I'm not going to loose sleep over it.
  14. best 20 million pool ever spent
  15. Just a thought but I always assumed our noisy/singing fans liked being next to the away fans for the banter? moving them to the opposite end of the ground would leave all the older/quieter fans taking the brunt of the away fans banter with no reply while our singers would have nothing to feed off.
  16. Not like you to over exaggerate Charlie......Not at our best to start off but not as bad as you liked to make out. Posted at 15:48 Luke Hyam sees a shot deflected wide for the visitors. Ipswich are not seeing much of the ball but are still carrying plenty of threat when they do get hold of it. Posted at 15:42 All Southampton at St Mary's. Ryan Bertrand is the latest to go close for the hosts. Former QPR and Manchester City winger Trevor Sinclair: "Poor defending but you can see the way Southampton are now beginning to zip the ball around with real pace. It is going to be really hard now for Ipswich." Posted at 15:32 Southampton are building up a head of steam. James Ward-Prowse forces a save out of Dean Gerken with a curling free-kick that was creeping inside the near post. Posted at 15:27 Southampton are getting closer to an equaliser. Graziano Pelle backheels just wide from a Ryan Bertrand cross before Steven Davis goes one-on-one and shoots straight at Dean Gerkin's legs in the Ipswich goal.
  17. Fair enough I think the guy is a legend. First signing of the new owners without his goals and assists we might not be were we are to day. Of all the players that left in the summer he is the only one I have any time for.
  18. Dream link up with Hammond........
  19. The amount of ball aching on here when he left was mad. Looks like he was another player we got good money for and don't really miss. Reckon he would have been a squad player/utility man if he'd stayed here so no surprised he chose the same role at Arsenal.
  20. I reckon he could do a job for Palace. Pardew would give him a bit of self belief again and given regular playing time I reckon he would find the back of the net enough to help keep Palace up.
  21. I think that's our main hope I suppose being a big fish in a little pond (more like a luxury medium sized pond) might appeal to him.
  22. Maybe but why would we want to get rid of Cork?
  23. Morgan will be gone in the summer I reckon Victor won't be far behind. Cork is a decent PL player, who we should keep hold of. It could well be Cork, Davis and Reed in midfield next season
  24. Hell if Jordan Rhodes is worth 12 million Pelle is a ****ing bargain.
  25. well the smashed up Cork and Tadic pretty good specially that dirty **** Cazorla
