Lets hope Clyne can do this again

How much of a confidence boost can being outplayed by 10 men for a hour give you?

Looks like poch is having to do a few "extra jobs" for Levy to keep his job.......... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-30195756 Firefighters were called to the blaze at Archway Sheet Metal Works, on Paxton Road, Tottenham, at around 05:00 GMT. The factory site is just yards from Spurs' White Hart Lane ground . The family-run firm is situated on the final piece of land the club has been trying to acquire to start the redevelopment of its stadium. "An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire," a Scotland Yard spokesman said. "At this early stage the fire is being treated as suspicious."

of course the other side of the coin is they couldn't beat QPR............
-
Ha LOL well lets hope Aguero slips on some wet decking in his back garden or something before Sundays game
-
On the other hand they haven't beaten us at home the last two seasons and we are (arguably) a better team this season and they are (arguably) not as good as the last two seasons. I'm more confident of getting a result against city at home than I am of Arsenal away.
-
Well if it wasn't on a Sunday and now clashing with my sons tyro league game there would be two more there.
-
Doesn't he score all his goals against Citeh.....

I tell you what I wish we'd had Lambert as an option off the bench last night. Lambert isn't coming back but last night showed we need an option for Pelle, who was frankly poor last night (mind you his service was pretty crap to), to cover injuries or a drop in form.
-
I think we've done OK, at home, against Citeh the last couple of seasons. At least they will come to play football so we have a chance. If Steven Davis isn't fit it has to be Cork in midfield Mane on the bench as a possible game changer.
-
Yet. We would have been ****ed last season without Cork after Victor got injured.
-
It's all opinions I think Cork is more versatile than you give him credit for and could do a job there certainaly no worse than Long. looked to me like Tadic moved into the centre for the second half in place of Long which didn't work that well either I think Tadic prefers to play out wide. Maybe we should have kept Gaston................
-
Are we willing to weaken the midfield for better set pieces. JWP is no where near as good as our other midfielders though I agree out set piece delivery is generally crap.
-
Bet you won't be saying that if Victor gets injured like last season.
-
Where does this myth that Steven Davis is not rated by saints fans come from? I really can't remember anyone not rating him he is possibly the most rated underrated player saints have every had. We should have won tonight's game comfortably even without Steven IMO. I do think Ronald got it wrong by trying to play Shane Long/Tadic in the Davis role tonight he should have played Cork as the AM leaving Shane Long (or Mane) as game changing sub for later in the match.
-
Think we should have started with Cork in the Davis role if only to give us one of Long or Mane to bring on late in the game. When our only attacking choice from the bench is Mayuka it doesn't give you much chance to make a game changing sub plus Long was crap playing behind Pelle and Tadic didn't seem to suit playing through the middle either. Cork would have been a better starter than Long IMO.

This^ Lambert is still a decent PL footballer, his goal yesterday was very good, but the guy needs to play every week at his age. He would be an asset for a lot of smaller PL clubs . He isn't coming back here, we've moved on, and being a bit part player for Liverpool is doing him no favours but he hasn't turned into a **** player all of a sudden.

MOTD2 analysis: 'Liverpool results reflect their true level' Former Everton and Manchester United player Phil Neville explains why he is not surprised to see Liverpool in mid-table following their defeat by Crystal Palace, rather than repeating their title challenge of last season http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30172094 Quite an amusing read:D

From the Liverpool forum http://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threads/366830-Lambert-back-to-Southampton-in-Jan-window I did like this post If so lets loan Can, Lambert, Markovic and Balotelli and swap loan with them for Wanyama, Tadic, Scneiderlein and Pelle. Deal Actually and Johnson for Clyne. Wait ... Southampton have better players than Liverpool FC Jesus of Nazereth
-
What you mean this Bearsy....... We won't say a word
-
Pleased for Rickie hopefully he will get a run of games, score a load of goals, and prove he still a good player.................I also hope that Lovern lets in **** loads of goals in at the other so that Liverpool continue to lose loads of games. Love Lambert hate ****ing Liverpool.

I still think we need someone as a direct replacement for Pelle if he gets injured we don't really have a like for like replacement CF in the team.
