Most of Foxs assits have come from set pieces though rather than crosses.

Richardson is south American.......well I never:lol:
-
I thought he was one of our best players in the blizzard at Birmingham in very difficult condtions. Since then I think he has been OK but not outstanding it would be nice if he could find a bit of the form he had while on loan at Millwall last season.
-
Only if he watched one half...............
-
The way Richardson was playing last night it's probably a good thing Guly was there helping out.............
-
Generally Nigel's subs are spot on. De-Ridder was much needed last night and worked a treat. Taking Adam and Lee off last night was a mistake IMO they were probably our two biggest threats last night so taking them both off gave Ipswich much need breathing space...all IMO of course. After a tiring game last Sat I think Nigel was right to make changes and give some players a rest but I would have liked to have seen either Cork or Chaplow in the mid field to give us a bit more energy. Generally I think Nigel is getting it right most weeks but everyone gets it wrong once in a while.
-
I have to agree about midfield they lacked urgency last night. I don't think Hammond or Morgan are as bad as you make out but they need Cork to get the best out of them. Nigel has to play Morgan or Hammond but not both they are to similair and defensive. Cork is what makes the midfield click. Our passing in general in the second half, among all our players, was very slow and innacurate. Players just seemed to dither on the ball giving Ipswich time to get men on players who had run into space or intercepet the widely telegraphed pass. Quite a few times in the second half I reckon if players had played a quick one touch pass we would have cut through Ipswich to more effect.

No I agree I expect him to run aimless up and down the pitch for a full 90 plus stoppage time with no thought to his postion or the job the manager has given him. Honestly if he doesn't sprint the length of the pitch to cover the left back and then from there sprint into the oppositions box to set up Lambert in the first five miniutes we should sub him.........
-
Very surprising how average they were last night given that stat they didn't offer much at all.

We have whipping boys every season. This season it's Guly and Harding ,with shout outs to, Hammond and Bart when they plays. I mean Jos was blatantly at fault for the Ipswich goal yet reading this thread you could be mistaken for thinking it was Guly, Harding and Hammond that caused us to get a draw.
-
I think it was summed up for me at one point last night when Lee the furthest player forward on the pitch sprints back to help out the defence after Ipswich broke on us while several of our midfield just ambled back like they didn't have a care in the world. Now you could argue that you don't want your striker running back to help the defence and it was a little ill disciplined but I wouldn't have minded a few of our other players showing that sort of commitment last night. My only concern was Lee was muscled of the ball a little easily a few times but that could be down to the physical nature of the English game that he just needs to get used to (that and the ref didn't blow up for Ipswich's two handed pushes in his back)

Anyone else think Richardson has been poor last month or so? He looked outclassed by Snodgrass last Sat (not to mention that attempted back heel in front of goal) and his passing tonight was pretty shocking. He's probably one of the fewer players who hasn't been under much pressure with regards to his postion this season as Butterfield has been injured for long peroids. Prehaps time to give Richardson a bit of a rest and give Butterfield a game or two (if he is fit)?
-
Well that might have been all the balls we just pumped down the channels. Thats alright for Lee who has a bit of pace but it's no use to Lambert who with the best will in the world has trouble out running a sick tortise. A few times tonight he was left chasing balls down that just isn't his game he's said himself he plays best with the ball to his feet.
-
Until he got on goal I think I counted at least three attempts that he probably should have done better with his shooting was very powder puff tonight. Having said that he always looked threatning taking him (and Lee) off was a mistake IMO.
-
Sorry I know Jos is the team poster boy these days but you can hardly pin the Ipswich goal on Harding (much as everyone wants to) Jos made a complete balls up of what should have been a simple job of seeing the ball out of play.
-
The question mark over De-Ridder is whether he can start or is best used as an impact player, running at tired defenders late in the game seems to get the best out of him. When he starts he is never as effective as when he comes on as a sub. The Lad did good tonight though he deserves the praise.
-
First half he was hugging the touch line when play was on the other side of the field but none of our players ever seemed to look for him, guess he got fed up of waiting and moved more central in an attempt to get the ball. Guly wasn't bad tonight...but I've seen him play much better.
-
Yep he was like two different players first half he sent an absolute peach of a ball down the channel for Lee, played some good stuff with Adam and his overlapping runs at least forced the oppostion to mark him rather than doubling up on Adam and joy of joy he even tackled the Ipswich winger. Second half he couldn't pass for love nor money and the total mis-control of the ball towards the end of the game which resulted in a yellow as he tried to recover the situation was cringe worthy. Very much a game of two halves for mr Harding.

Unless there is evidence (and I haven't seen any) that Reed is forcing Nigel to take players he doesn't want or sell players he wants to keep then I'm not really bothered TBH.

PGO G-max scooter. Looked the Dogs wotsits (for a scooter), Red and white colour scheme (naturally) and for a 125 went like **** of a shovel (I could get 70mph out of it). Sadly it suffered from carb freeze as soon as the tempreture dipped to around zero and constantly broke down spending more time in the garage than on the road. In the end had to trade it in for some horrible looking gutless Puegot 125 that could barely do 50mph but never broke down.

ermmmmm...........no. Two assits in a league 2 game vs a player who has scored in the PL (if we're going to take one off performances as an indicator of how good a player is). Holmes is clearly better than league 2. Puncheon had a poor game at Leeds but he was hardly alone it that respect.
-
Yeah that's what I thought if he loses he has already prepared the fans for it...if they win he can make out what a great manager he is to beat such a good team.....

Build up interview with the Ipswich boss on the BBC before tommorrow's game reckons we're going up.... Link below http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17263760
