I have to say that having a large person sat next to me on a plane and 'overflowing' into my seat is not acceptable - charge em more - but give a bigger seat too meaning they pay lots more...... To be frank 'sharing' my seat with someone else is not what I'm looking to buy in my ticket price. The point the person makes about being only just over weight on luggage but being charged £40.00 is valid too...

well I tried judging him on 16 months without a goal and still came up with the same result - has to be replaced.... Midfielder and striker or mixture or what ever you like....
-
lol like this !!!!
-
You can't say opinions are 'fixed' just because they offer evidence of the opinion against. If you could offer some evidence for your side of the story in the last 18months I would be mightily surprised. So who is it that has fixed ideas?
-
GUly is not one of our stronger links and is mostly not Premier League standard - certainly one to replace in the summer. Saturday's cameo really summed Guly up. Where we are heading he is just not good enough. Two definates to move on this summer - Fox and Guly....
-
The final paragraph does indeed underline a huge difference between NA and MP. NA's reverence to Liverpool in the away fixture was completely out of order and demotivational - we had lost before we kicked a ball at Anfield....
-
Well yes but if he picks Fox again I will have major doubts!
-
Guly 'absolute waste of space ' DM what a great summariser!!! Good old Dave GUly very predictable ...
-
I would rather hope our front four do not 'swap sides' or we are in deep do da! !!! ;-)
-
Good call this ......
-
At least for this one we won't have NA praising Liverpool up so dramatically for the week prior to the match. For the away match the players were were in awe of the Anfield powerhouse and froze on the pitch. Nigel handled that game's build up very badly indeed and completely fumbled the psychological battle.

'The Three' - who should play there in our 4-2-3-1?
captainchris replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I) I know Davis isn't fancy but we seem to play well when he's in there and he makes runs beyond SRL which the others struggle to do... -
Definitely a fair comment. He has more ability in his left finger than Fox has. He's fit has loads of energy - good at reading a game - a very good call...... Certainly haven't seen any of your veery unfair and aggressive detractors on here coming up with a better solution......
-
No spells No

Good summing up...... Forren read the game well but as one or two said - he looks very short of PACE ...... Rowe looked very good and played with intelligence. Taggart caught the eye as did McQueen but not in a first team way though Taggart was easily as good as Fox however that's not really a compliment is it..... A good watch and deserved draw.... a little worrying we ran out of puff........
-
Can't understand why Rowe isn't in the first team - he 'has good delivery after all' !!!!!!!!!
-
Second half we played a lot of balls from half way line high and hopeful forwards. Call it a medium long if you like but it was definitely a 50/50 longish high hoof.
-
Wel we played long ball hoof it all the second half and really was terrible. Issue is not the passing game it's personnel in the team who are either totally enept ie a certain left back! Or players that are not playing the part in knitting together the style of play - I'm not sure why Davis did not come on in place of Gaston - JWP was a very strange substitution...... On another note: If Potty even puts Fox in the squad for the next game or indeed ever plays him again I for one will be calling into question his sanity....let alone his suitability for the job.
-
We are better these days with Davis in and Gaston on the bench. AL and Gaston in the same team - not for me. Gaston doesn't seem to support Punch very well either. I suppose in short as lots have said previously, Gaston is not the best 'Team' player......

MP chasing Espanyol left back Victor Alvarez
captainchris replied to Wiggles31's topic in The Saints
The Sunday people know left back is a huge weekness of ours when shaw is out, opposition fans know, their managers know but we continue to play Fox! We get what we deserve ! It's a scandal that we persevere with a left back that is not up to it... Potty seems to take so long to learn lessons... -
If Fox starts the next game our manager has really lost it! Plain and simple it must not happen!
-
Sorry but we didn't pass it! We hoofed it aimlessly and just gave up possession time after time after time.....
-
Sorry but you are wrong - Fox is that bad. The three you mention were all better players than Fox.
-
What happened to our short pass and move game? Playing in little triangles - looks as though that has been completely abandoned??? What happened to - don't make a pass unless you are sure it will reach our player - caress the ball???? Big Sam is the king at what we tried to do today so why didn't we make a bid for him to come and manage here if this is the direction we moving in??
-
A good point but also picking Fox is a straight rank poor decision in any game. However it was tactics today. We look like West Ham these days. I have never seen so many hopeful long balls which just immediately lose possession. The instruction to the players today was long ball which is not going to take us anywhere. Ward Prowse ??? Couldn't understand this substitution - odd!! Davis maybe, he has played well recently and seems to fit our system. JWP is short of match practice and was the last player to come on in place of Rimerez......Potty is not learning about what does work and what doesn't. Today was terrible football - we were totally clueless, poor tactics, poor team selection, poor substitution, and no plan B, this comes from the manager....Simple
