Come on England. Woot
-
In fairness I did give him some credit for seemingly having learnt his lesson, which I guess will make many a little more optimistic.
-
Lambert required for Rooney - we're getting corners.
-
I do believe the term is W00t.

Liverpool look **** tonight. That new Real Madrid striker looks good though.
-
Bring Beckham on ! Oh...
-
Uruguay want it more at the moment
-
Uruagian keeper looks about 12

Preferably not Spuds. But better option than Liverpool. We should sell him to Stoke or Hull City.
-
Doubt it but perhaps - coupled with forgiving Lallana - he might give people a clean slate. Can't see why we want to keep him though, he wasn't that good really, a poor buy by MoPo.
-
Lol.

Have to say I have absolutely no idea how this one will go. Not a clue. Hope is all I have, just can't call it... Win, lose or draw its a mystery.

No loss, there are plenty of potential chairmans out there. Some even understand the English Premier League. That said, current evidence seems to suggest he learnt an early lesson, but I sense once you've lost the fans you've lost the fans.

Liverpool been tapping you up too CB? Et tu C B Fry?

Yes. We should not deal with Liverpool. If we sell we should sell to another club.
-
Another final offer. Lol
-
How good would that be? Capped only by a Rickie Lambert own goal so we can sing about Southamptons goal machine!
-
It's because Gerrard and Liverpool have tapped him up since he first put on an England shirt. Well look at the loyalty they've shown to him. Offered Saints a joke £16m with add ons and now looking elsewhere after having him obey their orders and put his reputation on the line. Lallana should learn from Liverpools actions. He's damaged his reputation, damaged his captaincy, has gone from a respected England star whose professionalism at Southampton was admired by most of England to - as Clattenburg rightly identified - a changed man since he played for England and discovered the great Liverpool. He became arrogant. I hope he changes back. But I fundamentally blame Liverpool for making him act like a spoilt brat. It's now time for him to make amends and channel his revenge towards Liverpool.

There's almost no service in St Mary's as it is on a match day. So, not sure how you'd get it to work with 32000 logging on. But, in principle would be great to use my iPhone to get in and out and make life easier. Bandwidth permitting.

Must admit, would love to hear Koeman say the FA Cup is important to him and we will go for it... Unlike potty chino. That will also mean the mods will start writing stories for the Saintsweb homepage again, instead of the symbolic end of the season FACup story that's not been replaced since - even though we have a great new manager!
-
I think he may stay. I hope he learns from this and becomes a stronger player and captain for it. If not, Steve Davies for me. Proper leader and experienced.

I think all the info above adds up and makes sense. AL may already be starting to build bridges. I think he knows he's screwed up, but the only people to blame are a Liverpool FC for the way they've gone about their business. I hope he will realise this and repay them on the first game of the season with a winning goal for Saints. I'd let him keep the captains armband, provided Koeman is convinced he deserves a second chance. Glad club may not be selling and talking to rivals - ie Lovren. Showing guts Les Reed, I'm impressed. Still hope he stays though, but in sense Koeman knows his defenders. thank goodness Krueger is out of the limelight. I still don't know what he brings to the party. He has much to do to regain fan confidence. Finally - I've always been convinced Shaws off. But frankly £30m is worth it, we can replace him with a decent left back for that and buy a second striker of note. Almost mad not to sell.

I think he's learning a lesson from arrogance and until he turns out to captain our great club again he will get grief from the fans. But I hope he will and I hope this summer has taught him the humility he needs to be a truly great Southampton player. He can be a legend and drive this club towards champions league football. I think this interview is the start point of reconciliation. I'm looking forward to him scoring the winner against Liverpool on the first day of the season.
