  1. I don't mind a 99 but you can't beat Pralines and Cream Haagan Das. (I hope they appoint a manager soon, this thread is going all strawberry sauce and nuts)
  2. It would be like having a 99 with a flake when you thought you were getting a pot of Haagen Das
  3. No thanks. Only if we have to.
  4. I see - makes sense.
  5. Who's A N Other? Is he any good, only he has more votes than Moyes.
  6. I put it down to your incisive interventions. Still there's 8 weeks or so to go before we have a competitive team and a demonstration by the board that they intend to build and challenge rather than sell our players below market value... Such as Rickie Lambert for example, where we were done like kippers, but might have learnt a lesson..... We shall see.
  7. I wonder. I hope we are, really do. If so it's like the Board woke up after the fans went nuts that they sold Lambert for a song. Still a long way to go in pre season, but I am more hopeful than I was 10 days ago.
  8. I'm starting to get excited about Koeman, it's like going through a divorce but meeting a rich younger blonder model!
  9. I hope he does stay, and Lallana. Although I think Shaw has been far more professional - AL has burnt some bridges, but we're a fickle bunch. A good performance under Koeman and some badge kissing should fix it!
  10. Indeed - I wonder if they listen?
  11. Lots of chat emerging in the papers today that Manure looking elsewhere. Shaw may stay!
  12. Bad that. Surely FIFA have to take action over the Argentine football team for political statements?
  13. If we get Koeman it would have been a logical progression - Adkins to the Premier League, MoPo to consolidate, Koeman to break us in to Europe. For me it's improvement, and rule 1 of running a football club is to only replace a manager if you have someone better. Fair play to Les Reed so far so good.
  14. Roy Hodgson was asked about Southampton’s situation during a question-and-answer session with England supporters during the team’s training camp in Miami. “If Liverpool are signing all these Southampton players, I have to presume they are signing them to play, not stockpile,” he said. “I’m afraid Southampton have become a victim of their success. I feel sorry for teams when this happens, when the team gets broken up, but it is a fact of life that bigger clubs have more financial power. Life isn’t fair. The good news is Southampton will be very rich. The bad news is that you might have more [Dani] Osvaldos.” Extract from the Observer story today on Steve Bruce being a contender. Another example of Woy Hodgson interfering with our transfer policy. It might be true but when I see the same story pushing £15m for Lallana and £10m in add ons I can help but wonder if Hodgsons impact is not only costing us players but money. I hope Koeman has the steel to reinforce the boards statements that we are not selling.
  15. It was ok. As a warm up it was fine. The competition starts on Thursday. Lovren will tear apart Brazil. A loyal Saint! Come on Lovren!
  16. And went missing for 20 of them as per normal.
  17. Steve Gerrard... Wingher. Sorry but there was nothing up front. Trust me I've been watching Saints all season.
  18. No, but I hope it works!
  19. There has been one major lesson for England from this game. England's first strip should be Red.
  20. Is Woy Hodgson desperate to pick his nose?
  21. Lallanas changed. (Even though he didn't touch him)
  22. The hopes of a nation are based on League 1 football.
  23. Americans are already making Adam Lallana outfits for the world cup I see...
  24. Right you lot... Give them a break. Thunderstorms and Adrian Child have ruined the first half. Now there's a chance the game might begin in the second half.
