  1. Yep - don't have to sell him to the club he wants to go to though.
  2. No loyalty = no loyalty in return.
  3. Let's sell him to Burnley and part exchange him for Ings.
  4. Don't show Adam Lallana this - he'll cry.
  5. Lallana does know that if he leaves he will eventually have to play against Wanyama doesn't he?
  6. Wanyama could have him no problem.
  7. What a shame - he was such a great manager for Swansea. Shame we're too small for him. HAHAHAHAHAHA! What a prat. I bet he hasn't even been put on West Broms short list either! Blokes delusional!
  8. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
  9. Lol and to be fair compared to Saints last season I'm not sure there are many world class players in the England team. Clattenburg was right. Gone to his head. He needs strong management to put him back in his box.
  10. It's not amazing to wait for a higher bid from another club.
  11. That's fair. Rooney wanted to leave ManUre in the summer. He didn't. It will be the first test of our new manager to keep him and manage out his emerging arrogance to get him back on track. Let's also be clear. If he has a poor WC you can only blame his lack of professionalism - not the actions of the Club in standing firm - and the actions of Liverpool in their underhandedness in tapping up our players, including the England and Liverpool captain Steve Gerrard. You then have to blame Woy Hodgson, who made it clear that there was to be no transfer talk in the camp before the ex Liverpool manager (I added that for effect I know - but it is a fact) then changed his pitch conveniently to benefit Liverpool by saying he wanted to have all transfers done before the WC starts! The latter bit to me is scandalous and (after the WC) the Club MUST COMPLAIN TO THE FA. Hodgson has not only been unprofessional, but his pressure on the club to release Lallana early has potentially costs us millions in the final transfer fee. But, Koeman has a chance to bring Adam back and reprogramme him. The club appear to be sticking to their guns and promise to wait for the managers ideas. If I was Adam? I'd shut up. Keep my mind and options open and talk to fellow Evertonian Rooney above Gerrard.the damage he's doing to himself and the ridicule he will face in the press after the WC will be huge. There is also no guarantee he will play as well as he has at Liverpool. Finally, sometimes Clubs need to be tough. There will be better offers than Liverpools. Regardless of what Lallana wants, we sell to the highest bidder and set an example - let's see if Kruegers words on us being in control mean something after all and whether he can redeem himself. In sport or business you reward loyalty with loyalty - that's effectively what we did for Rickie Lambert so the Club can feel vindicated here. Right now, there is no such privilege for Adam Lallana. But.... He's saveable with a great manager.
  12. He's going to Everton - we will sell him to his boyhood team, we always do. Once a blue always a blue....apparently.
  13. Imagine having an accumulator on that lot!
  14. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/you-have-changed-since-youve-played-for-england-what-mark-clattenburg-said-to-adam-lallana-to-make-southampton-want-him-to-stop-refereeing-their-fixtures-9037537.html When do we apologise to Mr Clattenburg?
  15. Very helpful in shaping an overall assessment. Shame we're all about to demonise Lallana, still if he wants a transfer so be it.... Just send him to a club apart from Liverpool.
  16. There will be another club who'll make a better offer. So we wait for the better offer and demonstrate we sell on our terms... Right Mr Krueger?
  17. Great article on Ugly Inside. Lallana has yet to state anything in public so we should give him the benefit of the doubt. But, if Liverpool have tapped him up - and clearly Hodgson is a part of this for whatever reason he may have - then the Club MUST COMPLAIN TO THE FA. Regardless, Hodgson and Liverpool are undermining what we can get for him by encouraging him to leave before the WC. IF ,and I repeat IF, Lallana has said this then the Club must: Examine all bids and sell him to whoever WE feel like - not Liverpool - AFTER our new manager has had a chance to assess Lallana and speak to him. Let's give him a chance. The longer Lallana plays in the WC the more bids we will get for him and better the deal we'll get for him. But - if he comes out with demands or requests a transfer sell to the highest bidder - not Liverpool. UGLY INSIDE: BBC Sport is stating that Adam Lallana is desperate to the leave the club before the World Cup with tweets suggesting that he is putting great pressure on the board to sell him quickly. If these stories are true its a sad indictment on a player who has been a firm favourite with Saints fans and who seems to have quickly forgotten the loyalty the club and its supporters have shown him. Lallana was quite keen to sign a lucrative 5 year contract a year ago, back then he wasn't in demand by anyone in the Premier league nor indeed England, in fact he himself could not see himself breaking into the World Cup squad as he scheduled his wedding for the middle of it. Suddenly now Adam is desperate to leave and it "Has" to be before the World Cup starts, the reason why it has to happen so quickly is unclear, but certainly Lallana wil not be impressing Roy Hodgson who after stating he doesnt want transfer activity to disrupt his plans is suddenly finding that one of his players would rather spend some of his time whilst with the squad in Miami negotiating with his agent and leaving the camp for a medical rather than focusing on the next month with the England team and worrying about a transfer after he returns from Brazil. One thing he seems to want to avoid though is putting in an actual transfer request, there is a practical reason for this and its all financial, if he is sold without putting in a request then he is entitled to various bonus's etc, however if he puts in a request then he has to forego those payments. Reading between the lines Liverpool are trying to railroad Saints with the same tactics they used for Rickie Lambert, the difference is that the deal was too good for Saints and they didnt want to miss out, with Lallana and Luke Shaw for that matter its different, the club is in no hurry to sell and indeed a good World up for either could push up the price. Ralph Krueger now has his chance to show his mettle, to show Saints fans what he may lack in football knowledge he more than makes up for in business acumen, it is imperative that Saints hold their ground, whatever Lallana or Liverpool say in the press. For Saint fans its more than just seeing Lallana leave, most expect that to happen and although not happy see that it is part of the modern game, however the feel good factor this season has been to see four Saints players in line for Brazil, we were proud when three made it although this was tempered with sadness for Jay Rodriguez. The transfer of Rickie Lambert did knock some of the stuffing out of Saints fans, although the gratitude for Rickie is still 99% intact there was a slight feeling that perhaps he and Liverpool could have hung on till after the World Cup and let us have a final great memory of Rickie as a Saints player. With Adam the feeling was the same, so to see him brazenly demanding to leave is not only disapointing but a kick in the teeth for the supporters who have supported him so staunchly through thick and thin, yes he did stick with us through the dark days of dropping into League 1 and we appreciated that and we loved him for it, this is perhaps why its so hurtful to see him so desperate to leave now, perhaps he is fearful that Liverpool will look elsewhere, but he should have more confidence in his own ability, if they truly want him then they will wait a few weeks. There are ways to do things as a player when you want to leave a club, those with decorum know what to say that keeps the fans supporting them even when they leave, that is why Rickie goes with the best wishes of us all ringing in our ears, Adam would have been better to concentrate on his England career first and then worrying about moving when he gets back, now he is losing the respect of the Saints fans as well as that I suspect of Roy Hodgson and that might just cost him a lot more in the long run than he may realise. Great article - well said.
  18. Well the new manager is just going to have to be tough. No transfers ûntill January. I do hope the club put in a complaint about Liverpool and hogs sons england
  19. Who's Ben Smith?
  20. Adam Blackmore doesn't know that. Has he flown to Brazil with the England team? Crap. Show me a statement from Adam Lallana and I will believe it and call him a spoilt brat. The only way he will leave will be to demand it, and I can't see him doing that. What's more if he did he wouldn't be welcomed back in the same way Rickie would. Sorry but I think Adam Lallanas more professional than this.
  21. Well done to the club. Exactly what we asked for. I think they've been reading this message board and have taken the fans views onboard. Now don't even think about selling our captain. I read Rickies statement with a tear in my eye. Not sure he wrote it all though.
  22. So it boils down to this: Moyes: or Koeman: The choice belongs to Les Reed!
