Just got back, staying with brother in essex. We were brilliant all game, and never really looked under threat at any point, although the 2nd goal helped! Good atmosphere from those that made the trip, although Ipswich, and their fans, were truely awful. Onwards and upwards now, lets hope this form continues.

At one point when we were under the cosh 2nd half, the northam got singing and I looked around and the whole stadium was joining in, excellent to see and sounded awsome. Just goes to show that if the players perform the support will always be there, as DM proved when he got subbed. A nice appreciation because he worked hard yesterday.

I hate Eastleigh as much as Pompey, trust me. I am proud to say the last time I stepped foot in Portsmouth was when i was 12, Southampton Rep team beat Pompey Rep team 2-0, and how sweet that was, even at that age. Infact, it was those kind of games that really engraved my dislike for them. I will not go anywhere near the city for anything these days, would rather spend my money around here, and when my mates fancy a night out in Portsmouth, I stay at home. I won't even do my Masters at their University, not just for the fact they are a crap ex poly. Irrational, yes, stupid, yes, immature of course, but it's just the way it is.

Wasn't there a woman from down here who killed the guy on his bike doing the exact same thing? Went down for a few years.... It's who you know!

I've never listened, or wanted to listen, to him or Gervais. However, his name reminds me of Kevin Pilkington, ex Manchester United. Awful Goalkeeper on CM back in the day...

All depends on whether Gerrard is fit IMO, if he isn't lump on big time. Have to say though I noticed their large price and was very tempted, they were awsome the other night.

Yep agree with that. Sometimes on here I have to take a step back and read exaclty what i'm debating about, only to realise in the grand scheme of things it means **** all!

He is one of the best strikers in the league, let alone between the bottom few clubs. Compare him to Parkin, and just think that Preston are 5th...! Still can't believe people were saying he wasn't good enough, even after he played in the Champions League and did pretty well.

We have won more away games than Preston, Cardiff, Swansea, QPR etc etc, if we can just sort out this home form we might be OK. Lets hope this is the start of that change in form.

Can finally properly enjoy a weekend now..

We always play a tad better at home in the first half it seems. I maintain we should shoot towards the northam in the 2nd half. It probably doesn't make any difference but it would seem we create more chances in the 1st half of games, well those I have been to anyway.

Kind of sums it up for me too Pat . Wotte can say what he likes once he actually has the credibility to do so. At the moment, it just makes him look more of a **** then he actually is.
