Depends if you want to keep them in a tank or in a pond outside (beware of cats and foxes though). I have 2 tortoises but would like terrapins. Best place to get them from (if you are local) is Emsworth Aquatics, they can give you loads of advice on looking after them also. Edit - clearly you aren't local, never mind.
