Going to post a response here, once I've read it. Just written a tweet saying as much

Pochettino wanted out whilst his stock was at his highest. Lambert would have left us at any given point had Liverpool come in for him. Shaw and Lallana both want to try their hand further up the league on undoubtedly bigger wages, whilst the kind of transfer fees that they will command probably have turned the board/the owners head. None of this is really a huge surprise. I think the replacements will tell us all we need to know. If they install Yakin/Koeman/Laudrup as manager, there is still hope. Mackay/Garcia/Martin Ling, I think we'll know we're in trouble. I'd still follow this club off a cliff, though. How people equate what is going on with whether they should get a season ticket or not I will never understand. I don't want to see fans taken for a ride but on an individual level, put yourself in KL/MP/LS/AL/SRL's shoes, would you act any differently?

I've heard that he actually signed for Liverpool in January for £3.4m, and he's actually been on loan to us since. However he's had such a good second half of the season that United have since had a £25.5m offer accepted by Liverpool. He's also actually going to end up in the Spanish squad for the World Cup after Hodgson accepted a £18.8m bid. Can't reveal my sources, sorry

Where does the level of concern end, though? If this your concern, aren't you then worried that we'll get relegated? If you are, doesn't that raise concerns for our first season in the Championship? Although with the money available even for those that go down, we should be able to make a good fist of a promotion challenge. At which point we've now got something to look forward to, getting on the pitch to celebrate going up like we did against Coventry. So I'm looking forward to the 2016/17 season, our first season back in the Premiership. Although that might be a season of struggle, so I am a bit concerned about 2017/18 if I'm honest with you

Got everything we deserved there. Regardless of selection that was a dire performance

CORTESE - a personal and factual view of why Ms Liebherr was right.

So this isn't a rant against NC as such, just that ruthless people tend to reach the higher echelons of management? Do you have the same distaste for all CEO's? Strange place to air that particular viewpoint but we're reminded daily that this is a forum for doing just that, so you carry on -

Nope. Look at the last few seasons, and appreciate that he did a lot of good for the football club whilst quite possibly not being someone you'd want to team up with at a whist drive -

High-powered businessman in 'Not hugging everyone in the office and never handing out free puppies' shocker. Everyone has an opinion on what has gone on and on those involved, but most realise that their opinion counts for nothing and doesn't matter to anyone but themselves. Some people liked him, some didn't. I think we've all got that now -
I've firmly got my rose-tinted specs on but there are some great goals on there from some great players - Lambert, Lallana, Lovren, Ramirez, Rodriguez to name a few. Indulge me for a moment - we've got some bloody great players and we're one of the most attractive teams around when we're on top of our game. Happy new year you buggers, leave the player bashing to one side and appreciate where we are and what we've become. It's on that Saints wall thing if you haven't seen it yet
-
I think more concerning is we've only won three more games than Torquay, and look where they are
-
Will this stop the drama queens from writing a game off so early and making themselves look like absolute tools, do you think? What's that? Not a chance in hell? Oh. Carry on, then
-
I've heard we're already looking at cancelling Osvaldo's contract due to his lack of impact. At which point he'll be available on a free, in which case I think he'd be a great signing

Why has everyone reverted to questioning the manger ?
Judge_B replied to Saints boy in Leeds's topic in The Saints
If it is fair to question the manager after 3 games of a season, why is it not fair to question why he is being questioned? I think that is equally important, especially when the answer to me is that a win at WBA doesn't make us top 6 material and a loss at Norwich doesn't make us relegation material with a summers' worth of bad signings and a manager that deserves the bullet -
Yes, this one game means our attack is rubbish and that we shouldn't have sacked our last manager. In fact extrapolated over the season, this result means we're going to finish up on 4 points. Nowhere near good enough, I'm off for a bath with the toaster
-
I've heard we've had a bid accepted but that in a bit of a twist, we're actually refusing to talk to him. This one could drag on a bit yet

Has any club ever unveiled a new player at the point of announcing a new strip, can anyone recall?
-
Utterly baseless. There are thousands of companies providing a service to you right now that are striving to improve, but until there is an end product how does anyone know what work goes on behind the scenes? We'll either sign new players, which you would have to consider is likely, or we won't. I hate the fact that those who shout loudest probably consider themselves to be the opinion of the masses. If we haven't signed a player or two by the end of the window I'll have my concerns, but I'll see how thing pan put before then. You wave your arms and have a panic attack - I'm sure in your eyes that makes you the better fan but I'm alright with that
-
If we're playing this game then as we've done it before, I'm going to assume we go the next three games unbeaten
-
More to the point, do I renew my ticket knowing I might end up say next to a moron such as you? I will of course, but I seriously urge you not to renew your ticket. Please
-
Prior to Spurs' equaliser - probably, but not as comfortable as we were before kick off. After Spurs' equaliser - very probably. Wouldn't want to see how close we got if we didn't win another game this season, though
-
The first name I hope is not on the team sheet for every game is Bella Emberg. I won't go in to the reasons

A very dark day in history. However, are we simply to ignore the fact that the Titanic sank 101 years ago today? Or am I going to have to start that thread myself?
-
Finally, something we can all agree on
-
Yeah, cos if there was one thing an Adkins team guaranteed - it was a winner after the 84th minute of a 0-0 draw
-
I'd say that a big notice on the front page advising of the latest scapegoat would be useful, but thinking about it Mr X's threads are good enough
