Only saw the Bremen game but I thought he was good, chased back and had their defenders chasing shadows at times. Always thought we should accept a good offer for him but with the chances he could create this season I hope he sticks around
-
Did we start last season slowly? Cos we finished it in 2nd and got promoted. If anything I hope we leave our preparations even later this time around

Adam Lallana has a sister named Allanah

I nearly started a similar thread the other day. My final memories of the Premiership were of players happy to take money out of the club without putting anything back in. Right now it feels like the squad are playing for the club. I want Saints to win every game they play and get promotion from every league, but if rising through the leagues means losing any of the spirit it feels like we have right now then I will definitely miss that

Table doesn't lie, Brighton deserve to be top but they must be regretting all the chops they've been giving it. 99.99% of me is delighted with the result because of the position it puts us in, but the rest of me is glad we put them on their arses today

Yeah, 1-1 with Bolton if I remember rightly. Headed penalty from a throw-in

Well, jerk my knee!

If we win on Saturday: Good for Saints, Bad for Bournemouth
Judge_B replied to jawillwill's topic in The Saints
Saturday is such a big game that with the added pressure, I can see both teams coming away with no points. I don't think that would be a surprise to anyone -
Rorrice Fernandbert-Chamberhorne. I've got that on the back of my shirt

Question for the Negative-Thinkers after the Colchester result

It's gonorrhoea all the way until we lose, then everyone will come out in favour of syphilis. Typical -
Question for the Negative-Thinkers after the Colchester result
Judge_B replied to dune's topic in The Saints
Wow, which is worse - the pointless baiting or the pointless negativity? I guess it's a bit like asking whether you'd rather have gonorrhoea or syphilis... -
I'm fed up with him having his chance at having a chance. I say we give Nicky Banger a chance at deserving a chance, although if I'm honest I've had it with him already
-
Hi, am I in the right room for a knee-jerk?
-
He's had his chances, I expect. I'm fed up with persisting with whoever he is, it's time we let someone else have a go probably
-
Very sad. When he was good, he was brilliant. RIP Dean Richards

My abiding memory is of that basket Bentley celebrating the opener in front of us. I've seen worse players do worse things in front of fans but he went right to the top of my list that day...

I blame the Bay of Biscay. Though to be honest, I wasn't at the match, I only saw the telly view. Might have been different in the stadium

Even the names signed up to charitable events aren't good enough. Thomas out. I won't be adding my support until they've got Madonna and Shaquille O'Neal
-
Is that right? Blimey. Anyone have any trick-or-treaters round tonight? We've not had one, bought a load of sweets and everything. More for me, I suppose, unless they're waiting until tomorrow night
-
That's a story the grandkids will never tire of hearing, eh?
-
I've heard there is a 1pm press conference tomorrow to announce 4 new signings, 3 new managers and a giveaway of 30,000 season tickets
-
I definitely don't think he will, probably
-
Can't say I'm best chuffed at losing games and not scoring goals, can't imagine anyone is. I also can't imagine what it would take to stop me supporting Southampton Football Club. Probably death, nothing less

I'd have Austin (and their no. 14 CB) in our team quite happily. Think he's very useful, don't like to see any player injured. I did hope Pericard left the stadium to find he had a parking ticket, though...
