  1. No need to worry. Nicola won't be asking yours or my opinion As I said earlier, it's OUR fault for chanting "Come On You REDS " You can see where he got the idea from
  2. Possibly Cortese was influenced by our chant of "Come on you Reds" Anyway, what makes anyone think that he will ASK the Supporters about next seasons design ?? He certainly didn't ask about this one It COULD be worse..... just think if you were a Cardiff fan
  3. Even that would be more acceptable than the "mini" stripe Cortese Krap
  4. Tell you what Do the Red and White Stripes of the USA Flag, in the same way as our "New" kit is, and then ask any American if he will still accept it as Red and White Stripes No brainer really
  5. I have already posted that I detest the new kit What bugs me most is when some people "insist" that it still has white stripes. Bullsh*t IMHO. Just makes it look like the seams of sewing various red bits together Cortese has not done much wrong, but he has no grip of Saints tradition. We may not always have had "purist" stripes, but it has always bee a relatively Red and White combo I DETEST looking like Liverpool in second hand hand me downs BRING BACK THE STRIPES ..... SAINTS STRIPES
  6. I was at that match If the ball comes at you 100 times during 90 minutes, by the laws of averages, you are bound to get in the way of a few of them Ted Bates was so impressed, he went out and bought McClown, and boy did we suffer after that Ted's worst ever decision IMHO
  7. I think it was Dave McClarren (Goalkeeper), trying to exit the pitch He could never see the ball coming, and he couldn't find his way off the pitch
  8. I think you had best send the above to Nicola Cortese It could well be that his view on it is that our defence let it slip v Man C, we did not turn up v Wigan, and (thanks to stupid substitutions) grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory v Man U
  9. YES, not too difficult when there is no OTHER alternative kit to buy ??? Put a Red & White stripes one on the shelves, and see the rush for them The Red kit LOOKS Cheap, and it is
  10. The kit imposed on us this season IS NOT SAINTS Krap Kit, Krap Decision IMHO If I wanted to watch a Team playing in all Red, I'd go to Anfieldd
  11. Could be the Saints coaching mindset Remember Shilton, Grobbelar, Jennings Banks Clemence etc etc... ALL of those COMMANDED the six yard box Davis NEVER has So, if our coaches are now starting to tell Gazza NOT to come for them, then, IMHO, they will ruin a potential very good keeper. He commanded his six yard box at Gillingham Goalkeepers these days are coached to stay on their line. WHY. I used to laugh at the Morecombe & Wise skit on the Football game whewre they were attached to a pole across the Goal If that's how Keepers are coached, then why have a pair of hands, they never seem to use that most effective advantage
  12. Obviously, Sebastion Coe was masterminding the sale of those seats as well as the Olympic ones Roll on the 45000 capacity Stadium
  13. Quite ..... Adkins knows when to sub his "Saintsfit" players, because he knows at what stage of the game that they will be tired Bad tactics, and bad result. Adkins deserved what he got, the Saints players that played their hearts out, didn't
  14. Strange that none of the Man U players seemed "knackered" So much for Adkins "Saintsfit" policy, thank God they were "Saintsfit", otherwise they would have been knackered after 30 minutes Adkins must have read about Sir Alf Ramsey subbing Bobby Charlton in that match v Germany, which allowed Beckenbaur to run the show and beat England I don't want Redknap back, but Nigel isn't doing himself any favours ATM
  15. I expect that is because only Ten of the "bestest" Taxpayers in the world can actually write
  16. What's the point of being experienced if you no longer can do the biz, and IMHO KD no longer can How long are you going to put up with poor Prem performances from a "senior dependable" player ??
  17. I disagree Gazzaniga is already better than Davis IMHO I reckon Adkins will "blood" him within the next two matches He will be left with no choice I think
  18. It matters not what he has done for us the last few seasons We are noe (back) in the Prem, where, if you are NOT Prem Class you will be found out Davis has been found out IMHO, he is NOT Prem class I said before and I'll say again, he is our Achilles heel, and by January, no-one will be able to contradict that
  19. Their parents should be ashamed at allowing their children to be led astray in such a manner
  20. Which is the stock answer from most Managers. It's always amazed me how it is that most Managers mysteriously MISS what happens on the pitch
  21. Perhaps he was meaning they can't move until the January transfer window, which I think he's wrong about anyway
  22. Surely he meant RESIGN ?? Now that WOULD be in their best interests PS Can someone request the FA's "How to run an insolvent Business" brochure ..... must be a best seller by nowi
  23. Don't you be so sure The Football Authorities have been hell bent on scrapping every previous rule they have when it comes to their precious Pompey
  24. Which always looks worse than it is because it's virtually behind the goal, and "easy" to spot on TV Why they have empty seat areas behind a goal beats me Our Northam Fans should go right across IMHO, with away fans on the corner(s)
  25. Or over his two Reigns of Terror even
