we did not rest that many key players in last years cup matches so I don't expect many to be rested tomorrow. Lets keep the winning mentality going..

I think SFC have totally cocked up and lost the plot...here is why I think why; 1. why did where season tickets not being sold on the back of our promotion, many more would have been sold due to the feel good factor. 2. the change in moving senior age groups was a kick in the teeth to many and SFC should be ashamed in how they treat lifelong fans. 3. I know its petty but charging customers to pay for parking for more than 15 mins is not acceptable really, does not even give you time to look around the shop!

I totally agree... when Adkins was appointed I said i was not at all convinced, especially when things would potentially start to go wrong. I was worried that he would not have the ability to motivate players and would nto have the tacticle ability to change things and that was totally apparent to all who where there today. Although I dont think we have played well in recent matches either. When you have a someone like guly who is not actually bad with his head, why then go and put him on the wing? play chamberlain up top and then keep hitting 50 yard balls up to him in the air? I just dont get it. Martin should have started today, he has some potential but will want off in January. Lambert cant become a bad player in the course of a few months and we are not playing to his strengths, he is not even getting the chances. Poor poor poor!

Under WGS the players were extremely fit. I actually took the first team for spin classes to build fitness and endurance during pre season. I actually offered again at the beginning of this season and did not even get a reply!! it was obvious the team were not fit from the first match of the season!

Totally agree, been watching saints since 1981 so feel I am entitled to mine.. Would so love to see SFC back in Championship the the premiership and it bloody hurts when the seasons starts like this especially after the hype..Lets just hope that Adkins can attract some quality loans as thats what we are gonna need.

If adkins becomes our Manager I will be amazed if we get promoted..i predict a long season ahead. This appointment does nothing for me, nor the players I would imagine.

Yes kept a team up on a shoestring...we need someone who has experience in geting teams promoted and pushing on. I cant really see the players reacting positively to Adkins..I predict a long, depressing season!

I was staggered that with 15 mins to go we still tried to play through them and when we hump it up we did not have anyone to win it.....any other lower league manager would have thrown a centre half right up top..its desperate but would have been worth doing today...the amount of sideways passing is unbelievable, its like having a team of Jim Magiltons!! Radio 5 live suggest a new manager with a wow factor will be in by midweek!!
