Anybody who thinks there is a chance of Pochettino may be borderline insane. Gerrard, Marsch, Lampard & Selles in particular stand out as the worst possible outcomes. I'd want one of the two other Argentinian's if possible, although I think Gallardo is almost just as unlikely as Poch.
-
If we hire Gerrard or Marsch I’m not going back this season
-
I don't disagree by any means, but it'll still be a thought process to have as nobody is giving up in February, even if we all do think we're doomed.
-
The question is do we throw a bucket load of money at Allardyce to try and keep us up this year, or do we hire somebody with the hope they keep us up, but a plan in place to bring us back if they don't (Bielsa?).
-
It really is just an absolutely brainless comment isn't it. You can somewhat understand it if we're chasing the game/trying to score a winner but we were literally already winning and he's saying that ffs. Played pretty well against 10 men too until he had 15 minutes with them.

Probably an amount of recency bias but this is the worst football (in relation to the level) and most dislike I’ve ever held for a manager.
-
May be being pessimistic but I just don’t think the official account post a video of his interview just now if he was leaving
-
Utter madness. The amount he backs himself in those situations as well, I just cannot see that being a decision on his behalf. But I’m probably just looking for any extra reason to criticise this prick
-
Yeah I’m with you on this one. Rather at least have another chance at a fresh set of ideas.
-
It’s bullying? Fuck off

The way we came out 2nd half is enough for him to go in itself, let alone everything else. Only one team was winning that game at 1-1, and that is incredible
-
Got to make room for a CB at full-back.

Yeah I've got absolutely no idea how to feel about tomorrow. Echoing the post above that if we suddenly find ourselves 2-0 down I'd be hoping for 4/5 just for the guarantee. I think there is quite literally a 0% chance we stay up under Jones, both due to his managerial incompetence and the lack of support from the fans. Whilst I think there is a very small chance regardless, there is at least some hope that a new guy could come in, get a quick result and get the fans on side. I actually (maybe stupidly) don't doubt that we have the quality in the squad to keep us up, we're just not getting it out at the moment. I also agree that the worst result, and what I'm expecting, is a 0-0/1-1 draw.

Be interesting to see if he goes there (and was therefore a realistic option for us) after he recently turned down Ajax. I expected he'd wait until the Summer to get a better position but I guess money talks. Anyone we'd get, in what I'd imagine to be the next weeks/a month, is either going to be a manager who I'd imagine is happy to stay if we get relegated (i.e. Jones) or perhaps a short term deal similar to what we did with Hughes (Allardyce?). It's not pretty reading, and you'd have liked to have thought we could've done something a lot more exciting 2/3 months ago.

Jimmy Jay Morgan not to sign a pro contract at club!

In fairness I think most people would call you a bit of a tool as well. 😇 -

Literally to the supporters of the club who employ you, give over. I couldn't care less about the kid or his career but it's hardly surprising that people are saying he's a bit of a tool off the back of that. -

The reports of an attitude problem are probably linked to him in the away end at St Mary's sticking the finger up to our fans, if I had to throw a wild guess. -
Completely understand why he didn't start either vs Brentford given their late arrivals, but if they're both not starting Saturday after a full week of preparation then I don't quite get what we're doing. We know our current crop of players are shit, we've spent a load of money in January to rectify that, play them. Bazunu KWP (Bree) - DCC - ABK (Salisu) - Perraud Alcaraz - Lavia - JWP Sulemana - Onuachu - Edozie If we see Elyonuoussi, Diallo, Lyanco, Bednarek etc in the starting line-up at 2pm tomorrow then expect things to turn toxic even quicker than they should. Hopefully Stu and KWP are able to play in some regard based on his comments.

£15 is absolutely bizarre. Little bit under the radar that we'd be one win off Wembley (again) if we go through this round.

Rasmus is a very good speaker. However, similar to Jones telling us he plays aggressive, fast football, it should not matter when the words you're hearing are not accurate to what is legitimately happening in front of us. I appreciate that it's somewhat nice of them to stick behind for a bit and talk to some fans, and to some that will be enough. But the club is failing, even the more positive of fans are now borderline resigned to relegation and we have an absolute prick of a manager. I'm travelling down to the game on Saturday not with any hope of a victory, but for the purpose of hopefully being part of an atmosphere which forces our board into making the decision which could actually save us from relegation. This situation quite simply cannot be resolved under Nathan Jones. He has absolutely zero support and as you saw in situations such as Everton staying up last season, the fans are absolutely paramount in relegation battles. I have never seen a manager quite so unlikeable across any club in football. Whether the board legitimately believe that what they're seeing on the training ground could help improve things or not, he has lost the right to even have that opportunity. I quite unfairly immediately assumed that tough questions weren't asked, as that definitely is not the case judging by the audio Antony posted, but the answers aren't good enough. Claiming that we'd just be going round in circles when fans are passionately laying out their displeasure with the situation, followed by a 5 minute ego chat about how brilliant our plans are and how long term it'll keep us in line with the high-spenders is just bollocks.
-
Apologies, didn't know whether you posted on here or not when the tweet was posted.
-
The first question should've been "why isn't he here?", because we all know the answer and I'd just love to see them explain their thought process on him needing more time from that point. Interested to see the video tomorrow but it doesn't sound like they've had the roughest of rides. Rasmus was getting irritated at Jones questions? Fine, ask 5 more.

I know exactly what you mean here. Always found the notion of “it’d be better for us to lose this one” ridiculous but this is about as close at it gets. Sadly we just cannot afford to throw away more points against a relegation rival at home. I do also dread to think what he’d say if we won!

It’s St Mary’s ffs even at its absolute worst it’s a comfortable family day out
