From what I saw there were Newcastle and Saints fans having it off over the barrier as per every week, then a Saints fan got knocked down a step into a copper and then 30 of them were needed to kick him out the ground.

Alcaraz was great. Wrongly worried after the Everton cameo. Can’t say the same for Orsic but hopefully he adaps quickly. Incredibly uninspiring move, especially for that kind of money. 4 goals in 50 career first team appearances. They obviously have a decent eye for young talent, but this is a serious outlay for somebody who has enough senior experience to look like he isn't quite worth it. Absolutely massive pressure on the guy as well.

Pretty grim to be accusing a young lad of faking an injury, especially considering it looked pretty obvious what happened with the overextension. My immediate thought was ACL with the way it happened. His stock was rising massively since joining us, so I'm not quite sure what benefit there would be for ABK to sit out multiple months and not further put himself in the shop window should we go down.

Pretty incredible that we were told in the Summer that we have a "significant budget" available for a striker and we're already at the "eyes are open but happy to work with what we've got" stage of the January window.
