We just NEVER have options in attacking areas, it's disgraceful Every week Stu and Edozie come on and it looks a little better in that regard and they're both sat on the bench
-
Yep. It's all rotten Jones is a horrible appointment and seemingly a shit manager but there's no fight from these players on the pitch either
-
One of the worst halves I've seen, and that's saying something
-
Literally. Can't wait to hear him tell us our expectations need to be lower and he can't perform miracles
-
CB > CB > CB > CB > CB > Lyanco > Forest We are truly terrible
-
Lyanco is fucking AWFUL
-
Every week I forget how bad it is and then 15-20 minutes into the game I'm like ah yes this was it
-
๐ Not sure if it's the systems fault or his lack of real speed but it's glaringly clear every game.
-
Perraud is never anywhere.
-
This fucking guy
-
Absolutely devastated that the train strikes led me to miss that!
-
How bad must DCC be? Unbelievable that Lyanco plays. Not devastated to see Mara and hopefully Edozie can get 30 minutes from the bench. 5atb at home to Forest in any sense of the matter is depressing. Even more so when Elyounoussi is your "behind the striker" creative man. A position which would be perfect for Stu.
-
Nervous for 6:30. The only period of the Fulham game we looked decent was where we were 4atb just after HT, so I truly wonder what he'll do.
-
Would have been a 10/10 loan signing, but can't really see us going for him permanently.
-
He's been very good in the Europe, which is naturally my only experience of watching him. He scored against Chelsea and AC Milan in the CL this year. He scored against West Ham and twice against Sevilla the year before, and a hattrick against Spurs the year before that. His Champions League record is 12 games, 6 goals and 1 assist. His Europa League record is 30 games, 13 goals and 6 assists. Adding a goal and two assists in limited minutes at the World Cup this year. Even if you (somewhat fairly) want to disregard his club record, the numbers above are still very impressive. There's obviously red flags like you say when a player has just turned 30 and hasn't gone a level above Croatia in his career, but there's enough decent signs with his European record for him to be worth a punt in my eyes.
-
Ah man, he isn't necessarily wrong in some aspects but this is proper depressing stuff. Manager trying to save face in the light of an absolutely massive game is just the lift the fanbase needs.
-
Didn't make a tool of yourself whatsoever, don't be silly. We're all rightly passionate and nervous at the moment. Should all be averaging 2/3 arguments a day.
-
Without wanting to have this thread stray into completely pointless territory, what are you on about? He inherited our best ever Premier League finish, had us 17 points worse off and playing absolutely god-awful football after 5-6 years of our best. He's also been protested out of the two clubs who took him on after us. The terrible decision making we've gone through in the past few years has absolutely no reflection on the fact that it was correct to sack Puel. Suggesting our fans "deserve" this because we're impatient and unreasonable is laughable, given our current predicament.
-
There's no way people on here are still defending Puel right? Fucking hell. ๐
-
We paid that money for Larios for fuck sake
-
What a club.
-
Fair point! Still think itโs us, Bournemouth, Forest, Everton, Wolves and Leeds myself.
-
Everton and Bournemouth both losing early.
-
Remember this one from last year. 2:43, 3:42 and 5:42 for the goals. 1st and 3rd in particular.
-
Looks like there's legs to this one. Much rather us take this approach with a player who's been regularly scoring goals and is in his peak years with the predicament we're in.
