Completely understand why he didn't start either vs Brentford given their late arrivals, but if they're both not starting Saturday after a full week of preparation then I don't quite get what we're doing. We know our current crop of players are shit, we've spent a load of money in January to rectify that, play them. Bazunu KWP (Bree) - DCC - ABK (Salisu) - Perraud Alcaraz - Lavia - JWP Sulemana - Onuachu - Edozie If we see Elyonuoussi, Diallo, Lyanco, Bednarek etc in the starting line-up at 2pm tomorrow then expect things to turn toxic even quicker than they should. Hopefully Stu and KWP are able to play in some regard based on his comments.

£15 is absolutely bizarre. Little bit under the radar that we'd be one win off Wembley (again) if we go through this round.

Rasmus is a very good speaker. However, similar to Jones telling us he plays aggressive, fast football, it should not matter when the words you're hearing are not accurate to what is legitimately happening in front of us. I appreciate that it's somewhat nice of them to stick behind for a bit and talk to some fans, and to some that will be enough. But the club is failing, even the more positive of fans are now borderline resigned to relegation and we have an absolute prick of a manager. I'm travelling down to the game on Saturday not with any hope of a victory, but for the purpose of hopefully being part of an atmosphere which forces our board into making the decision which could actually save us from relegation. This situation quite simply cannot be resolved under Nathan Jones. He has absolutely zero support and as you saw in situations such as Everton staying up last season, the fans are absolutely paramount in relegation battles. I have never seen a manager quite so unlikeable across any club in football. Whether the board legitimately believe that what they're seeing on the training ground could help improve things or not, he has lost the right to even have that opportunity. I quite unfairly immediately assumed that tough questions weren't asked, as that definitely is not the case judging by the audio Antony posted, but the answers aren't good enough. Claiming that we'd just be going round in circles when fans are passionately laying out their displeasure with the situation, followed by a 5 minute ego chat about how brilliant our plans are and how long term it'll keep us in line with the high-spenders is just bollocks.

Apologies, didn't know whether you posted on here or not when the tweet was posted.

The first question should've been "why isn't he here?", because we all know the answer and I'd just love to see them explain their thought process on him needing more time from that point. Interested to see the video tomorrow but it doesn't sound like they've had the roughest of rides. Rasmus was getting irritated at Jones questions? Fine, ask 5 more.

I know exactly what you mean here. Always found the notion of “it’d be better for us to lose this one” ridiculous but this is about as close at it gets. Sadly we just cannot afford to throw away more points against a relegation rival at home. I do also dread to think what he’d say if we won!

It’s St Mary’s ffs even at its absolute worst it’s a comfortable family day out
-
The situation is quite clearly not fixable A win against Wolves (which seems far from possible anyway) would just delay the inevitable for a tiny bit longer and we’d be right back here with another loss It is not going to get better
-
What an utterly bizarre situation this is, wow.
-
yeh that’s my point
-
Another game where we’ll look okay in the 2nd half when the game’s already over due to his inept selection, hope some journo asks him a real question and doesn’t let him waffle his way out of it
-
bringing them on when the game’s already over, lovely
-
Yep. Worst appointment since we came back up without a doubt The horrible tactics, the ridiculous selections (Diallo and Elyounoussi???), the horrendous interviews and this is the manager we chose to heavily back in the market Shambles
-
Get this fucking idiot out of charge whilst we still have somewhat of a chance Bednarek, Diallo and Elyounoussi are unforgivable selections
-
Diallo cannot pass a fucking ball
-
Elyounoussi is comical at this point
-
Recalling and immediately making Bednarek first choice is another mark on the list of horrendous things this bloke has done
-
Came here to say the same thing.
-
Those last two points would make a bit more sense if he didn't play him for 87 minutes vs Blackpool.
-
Interesting to see that we're holding a fans forum next week, and NJ isn't one of the people attending.
-
Without a doubt. Probably the most concerning thing about NJ is the fact that he actually deemed Diallo the better fit to start both of those games.

Lavia second half compilation going round on Twitter today. Diallo deemed to be a better choice than this guy, my word. -
The PL move clearly been something he's been fighting for his whole career. Little doubt that he won't give it his all.

Currently got absolutely no expectation but I'm sure I'll talk myself into it by Saturday, where I'll be in Norway at the time so I can at least distract myself from watching (probably won't, but). Bazunu Bree - DCC - Salisu - Perraud JWP - Lavia - Alcaraz Edozie - Che - Orsic Subs: Caballero, Lyanco, Bednarek, Diallo, Aribo, Elyounoussi, Sulemana, Onuachu, Mara Salisu was absolutely garbage yesterday so I wouldn't (can't believe I'm saying this) be opposed to Bednarek, the issue with that is you will not see a slower CB pairing in the history of the Premier League. Lineup is also obviously assuming that KWP is missing this one. The wing options are a little bit up in the air at the moment... wouldn't ever be surprised to see him start Elyounoussi and you can't really justify a spot for Orsic based on what he's done so far, it's just a hope that he can be better than he's shown, whereas we already know Moi's level. Could see any of Edozie, Orsic, Armstrong, Elyounoussi, Aribo or Sulemana (if ready) taking the two spots, providing he isn't a twat and reverts to the formation we tend to look okay in.
