AMN with an option is absolutely perfect business. The two City kids to fill out the squad is great too, would assume Edozie takes Redmond's spot. If we can get Gakpo over the line then this is nothing short of an exceptional window. The quick, direct winger is the last piece we need and it being a statement signing would just top everything off.

Performed in every game this season bar Spurs. I really hope he's turning this around and I hope we still give him what he needs in the window regardless of such a good win.

Good stuff. Thought Diallo and Arma were playing shit but both did very well in the second goal. Feels like I’m just bullying at this point but Elyounoussi may as well not be there… again.

I don't disagree with that. I'd just like to think that playing JWP, Lavia & Diallo in midfield opens us up to playing players in the front three who can attack. Elyounoussi is proving time and time again that he can't.

Do we really need that in a 433 with three defensive minded midfielders?

I’m unsure about AMN happening or not. He turned us down before in favour of a shit team because 1. He wanted to play in midfield & 2. He wanted to start as much as possible. Here he’d be our back-up RB (for half the season) and third choice CM (should Romeu leave), you’d have to imagine he’d be offered more than that at Bournemouth.

AMN, Caleta-Car & Gakpo would absolutely make this our best transfer window. Gakpo is exactly what we need, in particular.
