  1. Would hope there was no boo'ing of Ormergod.. was brilliant for us and always gave everything he had for us. Him and Beattie were great. Almost scored in the 2003 final too
  2. Anything anti-saints is funny to them though.. cringeworthy
  3. A big side.. that way we can go out, but it wont be that big a deal.
  4. Good win, keeping confidence up while resting some players is good news for us. A good win but far from an 'upset' going on the teams that played, happy all the same though. Quite fancy a big team away next, weve had a lot of home draws in the FA Cup recently.
  5. Nice one Guly, getting better and better.
  6. Definately. But I think neither side wants a draw at all. Both sides are gunna go all out for this one IMO. Dont want us to lose though, just dont want a draw.
  7. Cracking news.. seems he has a smart head on him. Well done Adkins and Cortese.
  8. Wear a coat if your scared you'll get wet. Its only 90 mins. Your at near capacity, whereas we sell 3 times what you do on average. You cant win an attendance argument so you may wana clutch at another straw.
  9. When your lot dont fill a 8k seater stadium.. you lose the right to diss other peoples attendances
  10. Iv been to Pride Park and thought they looked really different. But apparently were similar designs so who knows!
  11. Our ground is nothing like it! The only ground that is carbon copy of ours is Leicester and that was built a year or 2 after ours.
  12. Are you too good for BnQ now? Who did we copy off btw?
  13. And bite by bite were caching up..
  14. I have zero respect for a club with a ground that I did a bleep test round, and walked into, walked across the pitch, sat in the dugouts on a college break while no one stopped us, and still left underwhelmed. Your ahletics track is embarrassing. Your sparking new stadium will be slightly bigger than Pompeys. Oh the envy!
  15. Werent you just arguing about bigger fanbase? If it helps, our apple is bigger than yours.
  16. Well at least you have a top notch response there. Those 7 thousand attendances really speak for themselves though
  17. From 1958.. Wow.
  18. As much as I would love us to get someone like Pilkington, I really, really can't see that happening. People go on about Austin and yes that is more realistic him leaving as he is scoring non-stop and Swindon are at the wrong end of the table. I'm sure Swindon could also use the money. Huddersfield however are a bit of an up and coming club who are also in the top 6. I'm sure the Huddersfield reps could easily sell it to him even if he does want to leave that they have every chance of going up as we do. And the main point, they've got a bit of money behind them and have no reason whatsoever to sell. Be great if it happened though
  19. Thankyou Lallanaaa
  20. I mean if we had an 8k seater stadium..
  21. I think its fair to say that if WE played our matches at the Withdean, we'd sell out week in week out. You do not.
  22. I really dont think Brighton can argue about attendances. We regularly hit 23k .. they dont even fill their athletics track week in week out. Get a better argument please.
  23. I live in the Brighton area and used to really look out for Brightons results and wish them the best. However recently they have really started to bug me. They go on about how they will be a bigger club than Saints and once they have their 22,000 seater stadium (lets not forget they didnt even sell out Withdean today) they will be a much more attractive prospect than us too. They also go on about us being arrogant, and yeah sometimes i think we are but first of all, I still dont think weve gotten out of 3rd gear yet and find ourselves second, but second, pot kettle black, they have threads on there comparing themselves with Arsenal. I dont find their needless dislike for us in any way necessary, we have never bothered them because for about 30 years they have never been near us. Once they get over their little bit of cockyness I would go back to not minding them again because in all honesty I like their way of football and they well and truly deserve to be where they are in the league. they havent spent much and play a lot of good football. We have struggled against them too in previous meetings. I just wished they would stop trying to compare them to us, as i am confident that if you ask any football fan who has any knowledge a simple question of "who is a bigger club?" you will get southampton almost every single response.
  24. Chuffed, scoring goals again.. now to win a scrappy game away at a team at the foot of the table. Win that and I really think were in business.. One good run and we can give ourself breathing space. With Huddersfield V Sheff Wed on Monday if we can win we can get further away from one of them. One game at a time and we can hopefully break away, we certainly have it in us. Great result.
