1. I so want to believe you. An added plus would be that seeing as Petrov follows him everywhere he goes, I feel he would be a handy addition.
2. Very surprised and annoyed about this. Strange timing with the window just about to shut and it seemed like our season was just about to get into gear. We finally had some stability here as well, so all seems very strange. Cortese must have something up his sleeve because I really don't know who better we could get in.
3. Looks like the makings of a good signing. Wonder what he'll be like on a cold tuesday evening in Wycombe, as lets face it thats where we struggle! Pretty happy with what he sounds like though. Good sense that we have option to buy first.
4. Very stunned by this new, very sad news. Thanks for saving our club Marcus, RIP.
5. Things are just not dropping our way it seems.
6. Lots of crosses, not a lot of height. Looking decent though.
7. I agree. We got very lucky with no injuries or suspensions to Lambert. We definately need cover and everyone knows that, it's no secret. With that cover that leaves us with 4 very good strikers for this level. (dependant on who we get in as cover for Ricky, we still have 3 very good ones). However, it is just that bit of pace upfront I feel we are lacking. I can't see us having 5 strikers of good quality willing to wait around for their turn in league one though.
8. For those people thinking that England have a chance in this thing, there is no way we should be worrying about USA.
9. ----------------James-------------- Johnson-----Terry-----King-----Cole Lennon----Barry----Lampard----Cole --------------Gerrard-------------- --------------Rooney-------------- Gerrard has been playing just behind most of the season, so should be used to it, Lampard has been playing deeper and Rooneys been up front on his own most of the season too, so no reason why it hsould't work.
10. Not overly fussed, if King can play i think hes better than Rio anyway..
11. Hart Johnson (carragher in the big games), Terry, Ferdinand, Cole Lennon, Lampard, Barry, J.Cole Gerrard Rooney Think King is our best defender, but his fitness will always be an issue.
12. Just got to Mexico I think.. raiding Fort Mercer was awesome. This game is just insanely good. The map is so vast. Almost got mauled by a grizzly earlier.. was by this tiny lake and there was also a warthog going at me. Brilliant game.
13. No doubt about it, if we got Freddie Adu, it would be an amazing signing. He would terrify teams in this league and would surely be pretty decent in the championship, and young enough to stay for a while. Would really turn some heads too. I still just can't see it happening though.
14. It's ok, scientists have found a way. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/weird/article2337174.ece
15. England to get to the Semi's and Spain to win. Biggest surprise, I'll go for Ivory Coast, maybe Chile who did pretty well in qualification.
16. I really like Beckham. The performance against Greece when he got 'that' goal was probably the best I've ever seen and it really epitomised his passion for playing for England. Off the pitch he always seems to come across well and always comes across like a kid living his dream.
17. "please put your item in the bagging area".. ****ing thing Chavs that walk around with their shirts off.. you just look like a tool.
18. This. Cringeworthy. Along with people who update their status 10 times an hour. 'Joke' texts You miss a phone call, ring back 2 seconds later and then they dont pick up. Cyclists, just drive me mad, i just want to 'nudge' them at 70mph. Slow walkers, slow drivers
19. My doc when i had mine done said for every thousand minutes of footy played across the country, 6-7 people have that injury. So it is pretty common!
20. Brilliant, loved seeing the players charge the pitch there. England footballers next please.
21. Drink, have a laugh with mates, watch saints, and scream my lungs out hurling abuse at anyone. Brilliant stress killer and great fun.
22. I reaally didnt want to, but as me going off meant we were down to 9 men, thought id make a nuisance of myself! We went on to lose anyway..! That pinging twisty pain will haunt me forever.
23. I had my bloody dad telling me to 'jog it off' as we were already down to 10 men. did, minutes later the ball was cut back, had an open goal.. ping, twisted again. Really didnt help! No more after that!
24. Seriously, just strap a brace on when you come back, but dont rush yourself. Do the excercises and strengthen the legs, the amount of muscle mass i lost on my leg was scary. They are twice the strength they were now because i was that worried.. I played my first match post op after 7 months and have no problems, but was really paranoid at firsrt about doing it in again. Should be fiiine!
25. I wouldn't worry about it too much, you'll be amazed how much stronger it is. My doc says it should actually be 10% stronger than before. I managed to finish this season, got in 10 games or so having been out for 6 months.. i wore a brace for peace of mind and have had no problems. bit sore after matches, but thats it. Ready for the cricket season. I'm only 21 so time may have been kinder on me.
