For the record,I believe the management know exactly what they are doing. We are going for the 'Yo Yo' strategy. We will build up the finances of the club gradually through a very conservative wage and transfer policy ! Agreed. We are either inept, unlucky or controversially, going to see if we can stay up with what we have got. If not, we grab the premiership money plus parachutes and rebuild in the NPC ? Really, this could be our strategy, remember WBA successfully 'yo yoed'for the first few years or so.

Well unless we get another goalkeeper on loan or through transfer, Fourpast is our 2nd choice keeper and I would suggest he may well get a game this season...in the Premier League !

I reckon Forepast will be our back up. We don't appear to be doing much on the transfer front. I suspect we our strategy is to get one season in the premiership, grab the premier money, and rebuild or even settle for a future in the NPC. Alternatively we may settle to be a yo yo team.

I am not trolling. In fact since the end of the season I have been fairly quiet, apart from one assertion, thatwe would once again prove to be impotent in the transfer market, showing a worrying lack of ambition and decisiveness. Well, my assertion is looking more likely to be coreect. Yet again we have failed to strengthen during the ealry summer months. We got away with last year but i fear not this. I will make my prediction for our league finish at the start of August, but unless things change I wouold say 19th !

Once again Saints show their complacent, lazy approach to the transfer market. No sense of urgency and lack of ambition. All so predictable. We got away with it last year although it nearly did for us. Unless we get some players in this week I would say we were dead certs for relegation.

I think that our new kit is a very clever ploy to fool a lot of top class players into thinking that they are signing for another premiership team based in a city which also has a famous port. Pretty clever move by NC.
