I'd rather have a forum full of Alpine's who have strong opinions than a load of insipid lettuce munchers who don't have an original thought in their heads, or are too gutless to express them because they are not one of the crowd.

A win would be great, a draw Ok and a defeat not the end of the world as long as it was a anrrow defeat. I am assured that we will be fine when our transfer targets come good so i will relax in the knowledge that we never intended to start off well by settlng in the players over the summer.

I am sure that is what they would like you to think. IMO our lack of urgency and intent fits exactly with the YOYO strategy that the club is content to pursue.

I think it is more important to win the JPT than the league this year as it will raise the profile of the club and it is a day out a Wembley.

As long as the players entertain the fans and do their best then a defeat is not that important. This season in the premier league is a bonus and the management is right to keep a tight rein on finances safe in the knowledge that relegation with a big pay day is not the end of the world. We are building the squad in sustainable way and if we have to 'yoyo' for a few years, then so be it. I broadly agree with the sentiments of Alpine and am appalled at some of the whingers on this site who seem to think we are going to comfotably settle in the Premiership considering the ridiculuous risks some clubs take on buying players with over inflated values.

Good move to a good little club. Despite some knobs a few years ago, i like Boscombe and would love to see their fans rewarded with promotion.

My opinion is based on evidence. W"e are shirt of key players in key postions and at this point appear to be doing nothing to rectify the situation. Or, should I disregard the evidence in favour of what NA or NC ? In terms of evidence, actions speak louder than words.

I predicted thqt this would happen way back in May. We got away with it last season but I fear this year we are going to suffer some serious humiliation. What you say sounds ok, but it really depends onwhat NC expects and in rlation to our investment in the team. I am very much in agreement with NA's comments about building the team in a sustainable way and think we will try and stay up but not break the bank to do so. In other words, going down will not be a disaster as long as we keep morale up and continue to build in the NPC. This fits perfectly with my belief that we are trying to do a WBA, and employing the 'YOYO' strategy. NA will not be sackked and after what happened to themit is a very sensible ploy.
