You sound very pompous !

Not surprised, it must be dark with your head in the sand !

Probably someone like C B Fry IMO.

We got dicked by united and citeh......bit ealry to start the bedwetting i think !

I am sure that a number of scenarios have been contemplated and planned for. Obviously the desire is to stay in the Premiership but the management must know that the chances are we could get relegated. We have spent money, but we have not thrown it around, in fact I think we have been quite prudent. I am sure that one of our sttrategies is to consider the 'yoyo' strategy and keep key players in the knowledege that we copuld bounce back straight after relegation. This could go on for a fair few seasons until we reach a point of stability.

6 - 5 to the Arse, with us 5-0 up in the 85th minute !

Nobody has been more lambasted and vilified than myself over the summer. The reason being that i constantly warned of our need to shore up the defence and act decisivley. Once again, I had the courage to swim against the tide and stick to my beliefs. Once again i have been proven right. I have held forth the beacon of truth since the failure to appoint Hoddle fiasco in 2004. I am probably one of the most fearless but essentially the clearest thinking posters in the world !

The CB, LB and possibly GK should have been sorted a long time ago, it is scandalous that it was not. However, this is not a time for the club to contemplate its navel and we have to do our best with what is avaialble in loan and Non contracted players. We also have to be decisive, which we were not over much of the summer and I mentioned on many occasions !

We need a bit of perspective. The matches against the top 6 are not crucial to our future it os likely to be the ones in mid table and the bottom third. The premier league has leagues within the league and we as new comers have to do well in our own little league in the bottom third. I am not pushing the alarm but yet, and i do not agree that Fox and davis are out of their depth. We ar learning the hard way and have a hard set of ealry fixtures but ther will be some good times ahead. Crucially we must not fear defeat or relegation, I think we stopped playing in the last 10 minutes because we were wishing too hard for the result instead of playing the football we enjoy !

He should just put the Star on the ignore list for making up stories with no evidence.

IMO we need as a club to be patient and allow people to adjust to Premier League football. Knee jerk reactions will get us nowhere. Even if we are bottom at Christmas, as long as we are not adrift we can bring in new players and strengthen the team. We need to be thinking about a team we are building over the next three years regarless of the division we are in. If we get relegated, so what, we can bounce back. But, in the meantime let us build for the long term and back NA.

United were rattled and had to bring on two very experienced Premier players. We have defended leads like this in the NPC and have nearly got caught out. The difference is, it is difficult to close out top class premier players. We are learning lessons the hard way , but we should not be disheartened by this defeat. We will not get relegated for losing to the likes of Manure or Citeh, but we will if we don't defeat the likes of Norwich, QPR and dare I say it Wigan !

Find the post where I said that I would stop posting if Ramirez signed. As I said before I promised if Hooper signed. So do the honourable thing and find the evidence. I will be charitable and say that you are igniorant as opposed to lying. So please stop this trolling or I will put you on my ignore list LOL !

This is a 100% wind up !

Agreed, should have beaten Norwich by more than 5.

The best football commentators and pundits are on 5 live imo. Sky particularly panders to the plastics. I personally have never have and will never will subscribe to Sky, although they try and get me to sign up often enough !

I agree with what you have siad. I suppose the main difference is that NA knew his stuff about L1 and NPC players having served as a manager in both leagues. The Premiership is the 'unknown' as far as NA is concerned and Premier players are a different animal. Certainly more egos abound and it will be harder for NA to convince some of them that his way is the best. I think that is why the appointment of Luggy in 2004 was such a mistake.

Excellent post. It is important to be happy and feel successful and let us not forget, the Championship in particular is one of the best leagues in Europe !

No. I I agreed to stop posting if Hooper signed. I never made that promise about Ramirez, not sure about Alpine.
