Adkins is a unknown quantity in the premier league and that is a fact. My only concern is whether he has the sort of status that is needed along with the cash to attract the top players. We have made a better start in the transfer market than last years debacle, but we still have work to do and need to be ready for August. Personally, it would be nice to survive next year but I am not that bothered as log as we are not humiliated.

Its too early in the summer for us to make signings. The 'Saints way@ is to leave it to the last minute of the transfer window once the season is under way and after a shambolic start ! We don't do 'planning ahead'.

Ominous. We played this game last summer and were lucky to get away with it. We need to act decisively in the transfer market and lossen the purse strings or I will be predicting us to finish bottom of the league !

Success brings in new fans who may become 'lifelong' fans. A certain percentage are bound to abandon the club, but I bet some of our new fans will be provide the new blood needed. It is especially good to see new young fans !
