Well,if KD and Bart cannot play, who is our third choice keeper ?

I am not moaning that we are top, but I am making a point that we knew we had to strengthen and we didn't properly. Mind you, if we are still ion this league at the end of the season then I will be satisfied.

Bart will get more confident the more he plays. We are comfortable and this is a season for building not panicking.

Which was predicted not back in August or even July and not even June but in May ffs ! We were very complacent over the summer transfer window and those who said the squad was good enough were fools !

It's not that bad. We have had a fantastic run of games and t was inevitable we would come unstuck. This season was all about consolidating our place in the NPC, which i am sure that we will achieve. Not downhearted at all.

I agree. We must remember this is our first season back in the NPC and provided we are building for the long term, which we are, in a sustainable way (unlike Wham or Leycester), then we have to be patient. Again. this is not a wind up , just a way of saying keep our feet on the ground and our objectives achievable.

If we lose today it is not a disaster. We have had a great start to the season and a run of games. Lets get perspective. At the end of the season if we: 1. Achieved auto promotion it would be beyond our wildest dreams. 2. Play off = fantastic achievement. 3. Top half = more than we planned for 4. Comfortable lower mid table ie 17th very happy and probably in line with our ambition over the summer. 5. Avoid relegation = job done. 6. relegaion = failure.

Ever present in the top league since 1954, quite a record. Is this second only to Arsenal ?, who I believe have never been out of the top league ?

Makes perfect sense. It is what I have suspected and explains our relative modest investment over the summer. I would also bet that our aim was consolidation and that our current position is way above what we ever expected.

I think you are being far to pessimistic. I think we will fall gracefully to 17th which is very different from scrambling up to 17th. Anyway, you appear to have changed your tune all of a sudden.

We should be worried about wounded pride but if you look at the bigger picture they are just 6 points to be won or lost like every other game.
