That seems to be the pattern that was set in the summer. We were going to sign more or less everyone, but signed none as far as strikers go !

That's pretty much it. We had the same over the top predictions during the summer only to see modest investment in the team. would imagine that NC and NA are more than satisfied with our position at the moment, exceeding their wildest dreams ! Even when we do slip down the league due to lack of back up we will at the very least meet our target of consolidation with the outside possibility of a play off place.

Have to say Hammers fans are amongst the most deluded and arrogant I have ever come across. I was in the east end a couple of years ago listening to this WHU **** giving it big on what they were going to do to the Arse and Chelski. Another thing, they are always 'unlucky' when things go wrong. Have to say, that after PUMPEY they are my least liked team !

Ref did well today, especially in the second half. No complaints.

This is the best post on the subject. We can afford to be optimistic, but cannot afford to be complacent. There is an awful long way to go. Our failure to strengthen in key positions last summer could cost us dear.

Can't find many Coventry fans sites and those that do exist seem dead. Looks like the club is falling over the edge and the fans have given up. I feel a tad sorry for them as I remember they were the great escape artists of the 70's and 80's and had a fairly decent run in the top league.

Do you think that they think because they won the league that they are still better than us \/ Quite frankly we need to win this one so that we can continue on our plan to bring back the natural order of superiority on the south coast.
