Is it a case that if the're English and from the Championship= Adkins, Foreign and from the Continent= not Adkins? Given that Adkins very rarely gives much away regarding signings when asked, I'm surprised you are using quotes after the Wigan game to justify your argument. How often do you see a manager say a player won't be signing only to parading them around a few days later?

Why did Adkins go to watch Yoshida and Mayuka last season if he wasn't involved in the transfers?

Why would we have a transfer committee if there are signings being made outside of the committee? That doesn't make any sense.
