For me Fox is bad as he doesn't do even the most basic things which an average fullback should do....like close down to try and block a cross or shot, he so so often is too narrow, bascially holding hands with the centre half and doesn't provide much support going forwards either. He's like a card board cut out of a left back at times.

Been brilliant since he came in and already so much better than Fox ever has been or will be and actually plays like a very good fullback when defending and going forwards. Would still like to see another LB come in Jan as it's clear he's going to struggle physically (hasn't he been subbed every game for cramp so far?) but glad we didn't waste the 4M or whatever it was on Buttner in the summer. The best thing we can offer the lad at the moment is game time in the prem.

We haven't been a laughing stock.....maybe only for you. We've played well gojng forwards and gained a lot of plaudits for that only. Defensively we have been poor, largely down to individual errors, not team shape. It's always been clear that the players give 100% and play for Adkins. The team is maturing and learning and we have our best side available to play in a series of games for the first time this season. Many posters looked forward with positivity despite our poor start and were consistently told that Adkins had lost it and we would get relegated by easter etc. You're as guilty as anyone for not respecting other peoples opinion yet you refuse to see that.

Maybe he would have done a better job than Davis. However, to suggest signing him as you originally did for that purpose is what people are debating. Especially as you positoned him as DMC
