Agree, but the benefit of having players like Rodriguez and Mayuka will become apparent when we suffer injuries or loss of form to our starting 11. Ultimately, I've never understood the "either or" mentality with our signings. I doubt we actively chose to sign strikers over GK's or defenders, just we were more successful in securing forward players.

Every game in the Barclays Permier League is a difficult game. It's the hardest league in the World but we have some very good young footballers at this football club with a great amount of togetherness and ambition about ourselves. We'll be looking forwards to winning games of football to get us to where we want to be.

Were we supposed to know this?

Fair enough, saw a pic of him on twitter next to Clyne this morning and he doesn't look much taller and Clyne is 5'9. He looks quite stocky though in comparison to bale so maybe that's why it's deceptive. Wiki probably got his stats from the clubs player profile.....remember Chaplows profile said he was 8st not long ago so wouldn't take it as gospel!

I dunno about that Pap, my "Agent Fee's" thread from last week went down really well as did my "Good News!" thread from Friday. I think it goes to show the advantages of a bit of quiet contemplation before firing off threads willy nilly. -
Agree, we'll be in and around the relegation places until the very end imo, we just need to always keep within a result or two of those above us. Xmas does usually prove to be a bit of a transitional period where one team who has struggled pre-xmas starts climbing the league whilst one starts to decline and gets dragged into the relegation fight. Hopfully the former is us. The latter could be someone like Swansea or West Ham.

Can two points be the difference between precarious and ok with so many games to play?

good prediction mate

He does have a good cross but good going forwards? He rarely goes on the overlap, seldom ever reaches the by line and has little pace or skill.
-
I just asked a question. No agenda here. I just want what's best for the club
-
Lol, why would we do a deal like that?

Daleks 17th campaign had a good little run last year but his yoyo strategy one for this season hasn't really taken off. He has managed to get people arguing about Hoddle again though. Top wummery

No doubt Cortese's fault hey Duncan?

When we next lose 3 or 4 on the bounce (which we will) does this mean that there has been a reverse chat?

Oh he saw you, was just far too intimidated to say anything. You are his mong idol.
-
The defender is for the front sweeper position.
-
Happy for you mate!

West ham is on telly now against Liverpool by the way

The mong a couple of seats away from me was complaining about his body language the second he came on.... Do people expect him to be doing star jumps whilst off the ball or something?
-
Why try and defend him? He'd be all over this had we actually only got 2 points. As we won though we won't see much of him until we lose again, so yes I'm sure he is really happy

If anyone needs reminding of the misplaced arrogance of the clueless Alpine Saint, look at his posts on this thread. Reading will beat us because they did last year

Another lesson which hopefully our expert bed wetters have learnt.
