Sorry, didn't realise that 10 games is the official manager benchmark. Makes sense to forget everything else you know about about a manager who has brought the club massive success over two seasons and just focus on a handful of games. Great approach.

Well actually it was more than just two against West Ham, Clyne and Richardson were both out as well. I don't agree that dropping Lambert was the right thing to do but I can see Adkins reasoning. The way you go on, you make it sound as if we had Ramirez etc available all along but Adkins just decided to play Rodriguez instead. Everytime he's had out best 11 available we've played it got points. He tried a few things early on which didn't work. Enough to start proclaiming that he's out of his depth and should be sacked.......absolutely no way. You never said Adkins is great. Hope that makes you feel better.

When your best player is unavailable for 5 weeks and your best ball winning midfielder not available until game 11, sometimes you have to work with the players you have try and find a system which works. It did for spells and bursts but not enough to actually win games. It happens to even the best managers on occassion. As soon as we have our best 11 available and playing a few games together, we start playing well and Adkins is great again. Funny that isn't it?

Yet another who have miss read what DPS has been saying. He's never wanted Adkins out. Go back a actually read his multiple Adkins out threads and posts. He's been unfairly interpretated FFS.

I don't know why they are making out that offside is some kind a complex scientific formula that can't be proven by video replay? He was level, it should have been a goal, the lino got it wrong.

On the agenda thread Turkish admitted that his agenda is to wind people up, get some bites and occassionaly talk about football. Fair play to the lad, he was open about his agenda and now it's easier for all to take his posts for what they are.

Agree, Phillips would be a good option as can play left or right and AL can play the Ramirez role well IMO. Another LB to compete with Shaw and a CB would be good improvements.

Agree about JR. I do think Adkins rates him, he's said so many times. I just think he wanted it to work and realised that it doesn't. I don't subscribe to the pressure to play him theory. We're just 1 option short when it comes to playing 1 strike with the 10 position behind. Had Ramirez not been injured I'm sure we would have played this 11 much muh sooner.

Come on Krakers, injuries dictated most of those decisions. It's easy to insuinuate that Adkins was being told what to do but I can't see any rational reason why that would suddenly happen and then stop. We stopped playing Fox, stopped playing Davis as a deep CM and have Cork instead and also have Ramirez back. All reasons why we have turned things around. Simple but true IMO.
