What would everyone moan about though if a new manager came in but the players kept making the same stupid mistakes which have cost us far more than anything Adkins has done?

He'll be the worlds most expensive signing by the end of this season... The reality is that we've paid around 3-4M up front with the rest performance based. The 8M currently being touted around is nonesense.

So our football experts have in their collaberative efforts produced 6 pages of managerial ideas which would definitely be better than Adkins. Of all the ideas, I would like to propose a managerial committe with NC has the chair which includes Pahars, Solsjaer, Di Canio (because he's Italian and is a nutter apparently) with Hoddle as an external consultant on how to draw 1-1.

What's Billy Davies up to these days? He'd make our back line nice and straight and show the players how to put their laces through it.

All this Barcelona fixation has to stop, the fans don't want it. We wan't to see some long balls into the pickle box just to see what happens and for our defenders to find touch first and muck about with it later with a bit of pace in behind as well. Is that too much to ask for Atdkins?!

A chance to play our best first 11 for a few games would be huge. I know people think we should have invested the Gaston money elsewhere but I think he's class and will be massive for us this season.

I heard some Sunderland fans on the radio earlier today saying how terrible they have been as they cant score any goals and how concerning it was that only Fletcher has scored for them. The mistakes we are making are largely individual, the overall shape of the team isn't a problem. That's why it's so frustrating to me because we can cut it out, we would be a pretty decent side. We just need a solid win to inject some confidence in the side, certain players really need it. We're in a rut we havent had in over 3 years.

The players need to change their mentality then and make things happen themselves. We can't simply not play just because Lambert doesn't.

I saw Graham Taylor on the telly the other day. Bags of Prem experience and an ex England manager. Surely he wouldn't be out of his depth at this level?

Few games in and it's not been great in the most part. However, seeing people seriously suggesting Curbishley should come in is just ****ing stupid. If you get your wish, I hope you enjoy the managerial revolving door once again if 7 games is all anyone gets at this level before being written off as "out of their depth".

I don't recall many at people at sneering at Nixon for those comments. He'd been right about a lot of Saints related news by then and I remember plenty saying that he must have a good source at the club. More so than anyone claiming he was making it up.

I'm not saying he's been flawless but I cant see another manager walking in and being able to do much different. Especially if the formation is a mandate and it will still be the same players walking out each week

Very fickle IMO, it's been about two weeks since the last poll. Individual player errors have let him down badly, more so than any tatical decisions

Sorry but if its a mandate that we play 433 despite not having good enough personnel to play it, how is that Adkins fault? If he only ever implements his ideas and they dont work then you can say he's been found out.
