Are we not past playing people out of position in national sides? The only exception would be in Glenn Johnson gets injured, and the oppostion winger has some pace, i would play Milner at RB ahead of Carragher...... If Barry isn't fit i would fill the role with Scott Parker or Tom Huddlestone, 1 of whom should be in the 23 IMO

The odd game here and there? Tough to judge a player until he has had a decent run in the team. A bloke in my office is from Scunny and he was always raving about Mills, and that they thought he should have been made permanent when they were promoted. Agreed we want to finish top 2, but is a left back likely to have that much influence anywho?
