from another site, kinda sums up my thinking- "we almost didn't exist a few months ago" I've heard a lot of this from saints fans as an argument for keeping Pardew and not complaining. However, whilst true, i dont understand it as an argument. What i think some people are trying to say is that having a saints team playing at all is better than no team at all. **I will not doubt that for a second** However, what i do question is its relevance to the of whether we should be disappointed with performances. If i see lacklustre displays on the pitch, from players who should do better, it doesnt matter that we almost didnt exist a few months ago, all that matters is that the performance was not as good as it could have been. Yes, some football is better than none at all, but great football is better than lucklustre performances.

Too many on here hide behind the -10 and the 'nearly didn't have a club to support not so long ago' Well we have got a club, we did start on -10 and we have got to live with it, yeah pre-season was interrupted and not ideal, but 6 games no wins is not good enough, full stop.

jury still out on ap and his tactics imo. Needs to find his best eleven and get some continuity.
