wqell, i for one would have truly p***ed off if we did sit back and lock up shop. It was one of the most entertaining games I have ever been to, the crowd were magic and it wasnt until the last goal that I felt we were done. If we just sat back and defended it would have been a disaster. Its football, I love the saints, I hate P**Pey, late goals make the game what it is. Boring sit back defences games are rubbish. Bring on the Championship when we can play them with our first choice team!

Harry did it to us, now you are doing it to them, doesnt it feel goooood my precious?

With respect Tim, surely you have to put that in the context of a what times in the matches have we also scored to win, plus analyse all the other matches in the league to see how many times all teams win or lose between the 50th and 90th minute. I havent done this analysis but I would be very suprised if it didnt show that the vast majority of games are won and lost in this period, does this mean that all these managers should be sacked? Okay we got picked open today trying to get back into the game, but it was s**t or bust and it didnt work out. I really enjoyed myself today, great atmosphere, great commitment. My first derby and not one I will forget and not just for the wrong reasons. I dont know if you intend to go to Wembley but hopefully you will feel a bit more optimistic as the day approaches.

Are there any FL rules about what the shirt must look like? (apart from name and number stuff)

With respect, as a graphic desinger / writer, shouldnt you be aware of basic copyright? I am a very amateur photographer and even I know I cant use others photos without licence even if its to agree that there is no cost.

Apparently it comes loaded with £500 debt!

To be fair he stood up and pushed 'em wide, I just would like to see him put his foot in a bit more, (I'm rubbish at footy so will be the first to admit probably not the best judge, just wondered what others thought). Great game though. Heres hoping for a home draw!

Great game, have to get my blood pressure checked again this week. Does anybody else think Mills stuggled a bit? I'm not sure he won a challange in front of me in the first half. COYR

From an earlier suggestion of using the Teddy bears picnic tune: If you go down to the pitch today, You're sure of a big surprise If you go down to the pitch today, You'd better go in disguise. For ev'ry player that ever there was, Will gather there for certain, because Today's the day that Jose will get his pay---y check

It read to me like the beginning of a contract re-negotiation!

Having just married his sister, the Norwich keeper gets on with the consumation.

I have to agree, I'd rather see an open, end to end, attacking game and win than a dreary closed 1-0 win.
-
Got to agree with with it being a very enjoyabke game today, frustration at the end but throughly enjoyable. I do wonder if we could relieve the pressure on the back if we could direct the defensive headers a bit better, we seems to never pick up the second ball from them so it came straight back! Sounds easy I guess, I was rubbish at football at school so what do I know?
-
yeah, i want my money back! And for all those games i saw that we won. We must have faking when we played, i'm going to support rugby now. Does anybody know whose good?

I know what you mean, I go along to this massive arena every other saturday and all they have is bloody football, football, football. Why cant they have some Ice dancing now and again to make it more interesting to somebody else?
-
well to be fair, there is more chance he will score than one of the fans!

What he said, don’t let the wasters turn this forum into a waste of time. I wonder if the mods could some how help with some of the OT posts that turn threads into vendettas, but then maybe we should be reporting them to help out. I'm all for freedom of speech but mud slinging vitriol should not be included as far as I am concerned. I don’t post often but I am a frequent visitor that is getting more and more bored of the niggling arguments that turn good threads into gibberish. I don’t know much about what goes on without this kind of info; it would be a real shame if the sources died off because of it.

Cheers Phil, appreciated. I do a fair amount of lurking, but usually before i reach the end of what starts out as a reasonable discussion it turns into a slagging match between few people and I feel my point would have been lost, and as I am in post saving mode I have to be choosy!
