It's been a good season for sure, but not going up now will throw it all away and it will always be looked at as a pretty big failure.

Absolutely this!!! You have it all spot on there. People are forgetting last season already, it was so much tighter than it is now but we got over the line by winning at places you never expected us to.

I see where you're coming from Crab's, but I'm also in the camp of ''keeping your feet on the ground and looking at the positives." I still believe there are more positives than negatives in our situation. West Ham's task is tougher than ours; they have to go to Leicester who are a very dangerous team with excellent players. They will not have much to play for by that time but it will still be a tricky obstacle for West Ham. They also have to travel to Bristol City who need to win on Tuesday night, otherwise they're sucked right into trouble again - both teams will have the pressure on them on Tuesday night and it'll be interesting to see who blinks first in that. In contrast we have Peterborough who are a funny side. Their season is over, they have nothing to play for and they're already blooding youngsters and squad players as we saw today. I'd much prefer that fixture than going to a fired up and in form Bristol City side. We then have Middlesbrough away who have a very iffy home record, and although an outside chance of the playoffs it's slim...and they're relying on other results to get into them. I can't see us losing there, but a draw will be perfectly adequate. Then we go into the last match day. We're at home to a poor Coventry city team and West Ham are at home to a decent Hull City team, who will be dangerous with nothing to play for. So looking at it like that, we're in the best position. We're 3 points ahead already, we have a better goal difference (albeit quite slim now) and we have some favourable fixtures in comparison to West Ham's. I don't see it as being as straight forward as West Ham getting 9 out of 9 either, I think they'll slip in at least one of those and the reality is that they cannot afford a single slip, whereas we can. This time next week we'll know what's going on. If we're going into the last day in 2nd position with a decent advantage on goal difference, then its set perfectly as far as I'm concerned. As frustrating as this weekend’s results have been, you cannot look past the bigger picture which illustrates that we're still in pole position to do this. Believe.

If we stay down it won't be as easy as just 'going again' next year. Next year we will have the expectation on our shoulders as we'd all expect us to compete. This season we have come into the league somewhat unsure of what to expect and it's been a good laugh so far. We will lose players for big bucks, there's no way you can hide away from that. I also don't believe we're going to have a good as chance as this for a long, long, long time. We need to focus and take the chance now. Remember Ipswich 6 or so years ago? They came so close and were top 2 most of the season but lost out to Wigan I think. Their best players went (even though they were supposedly financially secure) and they now continue to bobble around doing nothing at all in the league, even with investment behind them. We have to take the opportunity we have in front of us now, and I believe we will. It will not always be this good.

Hopefully they're watching Charlton celebrating promotion today and then look back on their videos of Plymouth and Wallsall last year. It was epic and if we do this it will be even more epic. They had all the drive and passion in the world on Friday night and that will be enough to win most games at this level. We just need to cut out those mistakes and we'll be fine. Posh are on their holidays now, although they will carry a threat for sure. Middlesborogh are pants IMO and Cov will probably be down by when we play them. So we've got a decent run in, I'd prefer ours to WHU's anyway. As much of a dent today has put on things - there's still alot to be positive about. 3 games to go, 3 points ahead. Let's do it.

7 points now, totally turned after this weekend. We need 2 wins 1 draw. 1 win against Posh, draw at Boro and Win at Cov. anything less and we could be in big trouble as our GD is no longer an advantage. We're still be ok though I reckon. Our lads will be well up for this, trust them....they'll get us over the line. I can't wait to see WHU cockup the playoffs.
