  1. I think that's it. ITV bosses see him as one of the 'lads' , and they felt it would appeal with all other supporters. Well it doesn't. and he's an annoying ****.
  2. Not sure if that's a blow, I think he's utter tosh personally. Lots of running and pace, but very little end product. This will now force them to bring either Baldock or Cole back into the fold, and they will be much more potent up top.
  3. He had a loan at PNE didn't he? Don't think he had much chance there, so hopefuly another league down will = more games.
  4. Don't blame him. He wouldn't earn any more (As he would have been a loan, and still under the wage of his parent club) and he'd get very few games. He could possibly be sat as a sub for the rest of the year if he moved to any of those.
  5. True, unless they're just responding via some sort of web-form. TBH even if they have reasons for their bad English, they really shouldn't have been given a job responding to emails to people who fork out a serious amount of $$$$. It makes the club look very amateur.
  6. Doubt it. Would be surprised to see any new additions what so ever. Anyone else just bogs the squad down for no reason. We have Jaidi, Martin, Jos and Fonte as our CB's. (Dan is also back in training)
  7. The person responding to the corporate sales emails should be sacked. Embarrassing English.
  8. It took him a while to find and adapt to his 'position'. Credit to our coaching staff for maximizing his influence on our team.
  9. To be honest, we can spend so much time analsying points per game, averages, form, other teams run-ins etc - but so much changes in a second in this league. Reading brushing everyone away, 8 wins in a row, yet slip up at Doncaster where you'd least expect them to. Just take one game at a time, I'd still say with pretty good confidence that a target of 85+ points will see you promomted. Let's just aim for that ourselves.
  10. jeez what's with the blasts from the past today.
  11. Point of bouncing this thread, just to have a snap at Alpine?
  12. Nah....we don't have any of those....
  13. In fact, Readings next 7 games look horrendous on paper... Barnsley away, P'Boro away, Blackpool home, WHU away, Leeds home, Brighton away, Southampton away. They will drop plenty of points there.
  14. This was their easiest (on paper) remaining away game, and they cocked it up - you have to say. They still have to go to WHU, P'boro, Brighton, Us, and Birmingham on the last day. As long as we keep ticking along as we have been, and ensure that we get something against them in the big game - we'll be fine. The fact that WHU and Reading play eachother is such a huge bonus for us.
  15. lol @ reading fan's reaction ''Disgraceful result'' ''disgusting result'' ''embarrasing'' Mongs.
  16. 'If' ! At the moment that game is a long, long way away and as it stands at the moment our noses are well and truly in front.
  17. What's maybe got to do with it? Of course we have our noses in front. We have the best GD, the most points and everything is in our hands. We have to play Reading, and this was one of Readings easier remaining away games - and they didn't win.
  18. FT 1-1. Knew they couldn't keep winning, week in, week out. Wasted chance for Reading, you'd have to say - based on the chances they have. Very very good night for us. Most definitely a 3 horse race now - no one else is involved in the autos.
  19. Douif diving, suprise suprise. nasty player.
  20. Gorrks puts the shot over the bar. That should be it.
  21. Doncaster hanging on by their finger nails. Another save.
  22. 1-1 2mins to go.
  23. They couldn't look more difference, in terms of hair colour and height!
  24. Suprised he wasn't given more of a chance for us in L1 tbh. Would have been a star at that level, but Pard's wanted to add height to the team and he didn't fit the picture at that time.
  25. Reading have a player down injured. Sounds bad. (Noel Hunt)
