To be fair, he's shown a hell of alot more than Sharp in his few fleeting appearances. And has done more than Connolly has done in the last 3 months. He's made a terrific start to life in England IMO. Even neutrals are commenting on what a find he looks to be.

I'd expect us to go for a young up and coming goal keeper, similar to what Swansea did with Vorm.

Would be nice to see them win, put everything into this, and then come unstuck in the league! You have to question Dalglish at Liverpool though. 35m on Caroll (WTF?) , 20m on Henderson (errr..?) 15m on Downing (FFS?) That is such an obscene waste of money. Decent players yes, for mid-table teams, but for those fee's it's just sickening. Most managers would have been hung out to dry by now.

People are forgetting that Puncheon is naturally a left footed, left sided winger. So he's the perfect shoe in replacement. No concerns at all.

Holt has started most games, and I believe he's scored 12 or 13 goals in all comps - he's up there with the leading goal scorers in the PL anyway.

Pearce has also watched a few of our games recently, so has a good idea as to what Lambert could offer. Not sure I'm massively keen on the profile this will bring though.

Chamberlain isn't a striker though. I'd imagine they're looking for an out and out goal scorer similar to Bent. Graham is a good shout though.
