Umm, I don't think anyone has said ''transfers HAVE to be made at the end of the month'. It's just that the more educated posters who understand how football works, realise that it's not a case of saying ''I want that player'' and getting him, especailly when you are looking for specifics in our case. Deals are complex and can be drawn out, you are neive and show a lack of football knowledge if you think otherwise. I'm not saying I want us to wait till the deadline, because I don't. I'd love to see us get a player or 2 in by mid month. Your point is flawed anyway as we have been in negotiations for the past month with the guy from Japan. That kills your point dead really.
