  1. The sale of what facility? We've not sold that to Liverpool as well have we?
  2. Amazingly, this seems to be gathering some sort of pace. This guy doesn't bull****. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/southampton/10998992/Southampton-chairman-Ralph-Krueger-says-midfielder-Morgan-Schneiderlin-is-not-for-sale.html
  3. I'm guessing Taider was a team mate of Gastons @ Bologna too? Nice to see us trying to make it homely for him! Hope we actually do make an effort with him this year, felt he was just left to rot under MP.
  4. Another example of a player being **** as soon as they (almost) leave?
  5. Both, I reckon. And I honestly don't belive Spurs can afford him. They spent all their dosh last summer, hence why any deals they do now include player swaps.
  6. Just to throw this one out there, last summer Luis Suarez did pretty much the same. He added: "I have the club's word and we have the written contract and we are happy to take this to the Premier League for them to decide the case but I do not want it to come to that. "I don't feel betrayed [by Liverpool] but the club promised me something a year ago just as I promised them that I would stay and try everything possible to get us into the Champions League. "They gave me their word a year ago and now I want them to honour that. And it is not just something verbal with the coach but something that is written in the contract. I’m not going to another club to hurt Liverpool." "People may accuse me of showing a lack of loyalty but last season we told Liverpool there was interest from a top European club but they told me: We've got a new coach and we’re going to push for the Champions League'. "I spoke with Brendan Rodgers several times and he told me: 'Stay another season, and you have my word if we don't make it then I will personally make sure that you can leave'. "Liverpool is a club with a reputation for doing things the right way. I just want them to abide by the promises made last season. Some of [my team-mates] say to me: 'We cannot understand that if you have it signed that you can't leave'." He then stayed, scored a bucket load of goals, and went to Barca for more than his asking price last year. Liverpool stood firm on it.
  7. Basically, we are starting a rebuild. Funds will be provided to Koeman (he said every single bit of player sale money will go to Koeman) He feels that next season will be tough, but we will become stronger. Wants us to get to Europe the hard way, and feels players who want out want to do it the easy way (That was a bit of an lol comment tbf) Jay and Morgan WILL NOT be sold - Guaranteed it, 110% they will not go. He reiterated it in every interview and even on the OS. And then lots of waffle about how he enjoys it, about how to judge us on SEPTEMBER ONE and that teamsaints will get stronger. Oh, and no plans to sell.
  8. He moved out of his Ocean Village apartment yesterday, and his stuff has been put in storage. He was ready to start talking to Spurs, so I'm not having what Ralf said in that we never spoke with anyone regarding the sale.
  9. Morgan is staying in a hotel in Southampton overnight apparently.
  10. That was probably before the board decided to sell everyone else, and now actually realise we need a competitive team.
  11. Would have the same effect the playoffs have had in the NPC - it means that tons of teams still have a chance of reaching the big time, even with weeks left. Would level the playing field and make things so much more interesting. That way, every club has kind of got a chance to get into the CL. Seeing as that seems to be the be all and end all for every player on the planet...
  12. I must admit, I was a little naive to think that they'd just sold Morgan and Jay the vision and that they were happy to stay for now. They clearly hadn't been spoken to at all. Another utter PR disaster by own good old friend Ralf.
  13. If so many players want out, this badly, then yes there is.
  14. I think the ''destroyed'' comments comes from what he's now going to have to do. He's clearly now going to force a move via agents/media/striking. He will go, and our friend Ralf will find his position untenable. But once again, I'm sure we'll hear the fact that ''he wanted to go, we want players who want to be here''. No, we know want to know why the flying **** so many want out. It's not normal, something is horrendously wrong.
  15. There must be something so horrible going on at the club that so many want out, this badly. It's not even a little request, it's a steaming great big hissy fit from them all.
  16. Yeah, he's gone. We've been duped, again.
  17. We have a problem.
  18. The cynical bone in me says it's because no clubs was willing to meet our 'premium'.
  19. For 6.7m, I'm so frustrated he's not here. I'd hope we could have competed with Lazio.
  20. Probably long-term to be used over multiple windows I imagine.
  21. I wasn't actually being naughty with that quote at all, was just putting it out there as to why else would he have been meeting them? We're after a couple of their lads?
  22. Now...what do we make of that?
  23. There is a lot more information here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28542225
  24. If he isn't, then his position is untenable and he will have to go - or fans will force him out. It will get ugly.
